Curious to know how many people would still vote Tory if Liz lands the job. I would think she will lose them the next election..?
Maybe Rishi will run as an independent candidate?

How would you vote in the next General Election? And why?

Anyone but Tory

Will be Labour in our constituency

Numbat2022 · 09/08/2022 20:36

In this area I will vote Lib Dem because Labour stand absolutely no chance - they don't even put forward a candidate sometimes. But generally I'll vote for the person most likely to beat the Tories.
We need a progressive coalition to get them out.

I'm in Wales so either Plaid or Conservative. Labour have had over 20 years to make a change in Wales and things just keep getting worse not better. And before someone says that they can only do so much with what they are given maybe look at how they are spending it, free prescriptions for all so we are paying a ridiculous amount of money for drugs like paracetamol that can be brought for under a pound in any supermarket. On the face of it free prescriptions in Wales sounds good but tell that to someone who's been in A&E for over 12 hours because they've closed so many emergency departments. There's plenty more examples of how money is wasted in Wales but I'd be here until the next election if I listed them all.

They're all terrible, so I tend to vote for whoever is most likely to unseat the SNP in my constituency.

AntlerRose · 09/08/2022 20:32

Lib dem. I would vote green but they didnt stand in my area last time.

CarlCarlson · 09/08/2022 20:29

Anyone who isn’t in a blue tie

Tory bastards

QuentininQuarantino · 09/08/2022 20:23

Lib dems as they have the best chance of unseating our conservative candidate in my true blue constituency.

Rascalsandradishes · 09/08/2022 20:20

The sheer amount of people who will say they'll vote Tory despite the clusterfuck of the past few years is upsetting me already.

I'd vote for the party most likely to get the tories out. Here it would be a vote for Labour, not that I'm a supporter but I despise the Labour Party less than I despise the Conservatives so 🤷‍♀️

Shade17 · 09/08/2022 20:13

Tory, obviously

Imthedamnfoolwhoshothim · 09/08/2022 13:47

Labour.
I find myself leaving towards Green more however they won't get in so I need to do what I can to get The Tories out.

Yes they all have problems with the whole Trans BS but at least they're kot actively murdering people.

Which is a pretty depression standard to have.
