Are you proud that we are standing by Ukraine?

We had buntings, bake sale and even traditional Ukrainian foods cooked and laid out tables and welcomed some of the families that have moved into our estate.
Even though many of us don't have much and I'm a struggling single mum we still did our best and everyone loved it.
In this neighborhood we look after each other if someones kid goes missing, finances low, house fire anything. Like I could go to any neighbours house and they'll give me a meal no question asked.
You don't get this anymore. This community.

I understand what it's all for an old neighbour was telling us all that it's like Hitler again and we need to stop Putin even though we are paying higher prices. because if ignored it will bombs falling on our cities next.
Are you proud that we've stepped up ?
(Ps- met a real cute Ukrainian fittie at our street party) so was a bonus lol 😁 I defo gonna follow him up for a drink

Ukraine are fighting everyone in Europe’s and most countries beyond war against Putin.

In my opinion Putin is every bit as dangerous as Hitler, a tyrant who answers to no one and has a tenuous grip on reality and rather than not learn for the mistakes of appeasing Hitler at the early stages of WWII most of the rest of the world had gone to bat for Ukraine against a very dangerous Russia.

I think it is absolutely the right thing for the rest of the world to stand by Ukraine as they take the brunt of what is going on.

Yeah I totally get it, I know it's hard and people moan and complain but some people don't understand what'll happen if we did nothing. I'm a single mum to two little kids and we can't even go for a holiday here in the UK this year ! I've cut back on lots of stuff like everyone else.

I'm no history buff but I get the Hitler part. He'll just take one country after another.
Hopefully he'll have a fall and we'll make peace again.
Their such lovely people these Ukrainian that have moved over and we all love them to bits. I invite some of them in and we've shared recipes, meals and pointed them to some English classes in the area.. their English needs help tbh
They'll mix in really well with us here. But I guess home is home and I bet they miss their own country. Screw Putin
