Whoops posted too soon.... at the time of the Damien Greene scandal on parliamentary computers.

The scale of the problem was pretty big even then though. One of the final months there's official data for (Sept 2016) shows 32,164 attempts made in 30 days – roughly 1,070 a day. To put that in context, that's someone trying to access porn once a minute, every minute, ~18 hours a day.

Then he'd say nobody told him it was porn.
Then he'd say nobody's interested in whether he watched porn.

Surely watching porn at work is gross misconduct, even in the cesspool that is parliament???????????

Says everything about the party that they have not named the MP and allowed the public to speculate it is others to protect the disgusting one.

I work in a school ... imagine a teacher was casually viewing porn whilst supposed to be working. They would be sent home right away.

Here we have the role models of society falling over themselves to keep the identity a secret.

I reckon it's someone in the 30's-mid 40's age group.

A more tech savvy MP who is au fait with streaming and downloads, and has come of age in the internet era, who regards pornography as mainstream 'light entertainment'.

Boundaries have blurred around what is socially acceptable since the advent of the freely available porn websites, before that pornography was accessed by furtive expeditions to either a newsagent top shelf, a sex shop that had blacked out windows, or Blockbuster.

There was a news report today (I think C4 news) about misogyny in parliament. And that NAMALT. Other news reports - misogyny in this area, that area, the other area. The problem isn't the area - it's bloody entitled arrogant shitty men. It doesn't matter where they work it's the fact that they do it. When are we going to address that? Sod NAMALT - the ones that are like that are men!
