Assuming it's true.

I wonder if someone had sent them a WhatsApp and they opened their message and it was porn. I reckon that's what they will say anyway.

Very true - and there's no way of knowing whether they were as shocked and horrified as the person who saw them open it unwittingly or if they were knowingly copping a good old look for the 10th time that day, unless they take their merry time 'perusing' it with a smirk on their face.

Anyway back to porn watcher instead of my failing memory GrinBlush

i find it really disrespectful when someone is giving a speech / asking a question and they are all sat there on their phones (the porn is obviously worse), It’s just rude.
its like their constituents issue doesn’t matter.

EvilPea · 29/04/2022 10:03

Everyone should go on the tour by the way if you’ve not been. You just email your MP and they organise it, it’s free and it’s fascinating.

EvilPea · 29/04/2022 10:01

it must be my memory playing tricks, it was a while ago I went, I was sure it was 150.

unless I’m confused about 150 on one side or something.

well I wouldn’t want to be caught in a fire with 400 in there.

They can’t fit. Churchill kept it to 150 seats

Even Parliament’s own website states that there are seats for 427 MPs:

Clearance of the site began in May 1945, and the new Chamber was completed in 1950. Designed by Giles Gilbert Scott along similar lines to the old, its small size (containing only 427 seats for 646 MPs) and confrontational design helps to keep debates lively and robust but also intimate.

ive found the House of Lords measurements.
29.5 x 21
using the U.K. standard measurement system that’s, three double deckers by two

About 427 MPs can be accommodated in the HoC apparently (according to Wiki).

Weird how only the women saw.

was it done deliberately for them to see?
or have the men just turned a blind eye

no shits given at all?

Wouldn’t be surprised - it’s a power thing?

Happy to be corrected as it’s a long time since I went but If memory serves me right it has seating for 150 MP’s.
it did feel like the kids school hall was bigger.

I’m guessing it was during one of the debates which are often practically empty

I did wonder that, however your still overlooked by the galleries, the cameras and there’s always a few colleagues knocking about. It’s been done to be seen

have you been inside? It’s so very small and cramped.

Was it during prime ministers questions? Or was that just when it came out.

i rewatched it yesterday. We know it’s a front bencher who was sat next to a woman.
that narrows it down to about 4 men. I could see one woman glaring at someone’s phone.

I think it was the same MP seen on separate occasions - once by a senior female MP and once by a female junior minister.

It didn’t happen during this week’s pmqs.

Oh that puts play to my sleuthing then.
Grin
I knew it broke then but wasn’t sure if it happened then.

its such a small place with everyone bustling for seats, the fron bench is heavily over looked by other colleagues, press and public galleries. whoever did it, it was done to be caught and with utter contempt for their colleagues as well as the public office they hold.

Notonthestairs · 29/04/2022 09:01

Put off from complaining

Notonthestairs · 29/04/2022 09:01

This makes for depressing reading - very little discipline and women out off from complaining "don't worry, you're not his type."

He's not an idiot. It won't be him.

There is no evidence show that Dominic Raab is not an idiot. Deputy PM counts as a minister surely though, so it can’t be him.

The standard of the cabinet at the moment is absolutely abysmal.

RockinHorseShit · 29/04/2022 08:52

It's definitely him 👀

Though weirdly this has disappeared from the net since first shared yesterday 🤔... maybe it really is him, I'd love that it really is the pious prick

I'm not sure on what you base your assertion that he's not an idiot...what with his remarks about the importance or otherwise of Dover to EU trade, going on holiday during a major international crisis, and so on...

moodyseagull · 29/04/2022 08:45

It's not Ben Wallace
