I thank them all

Absolutely. They just got people’s backs up.
We couldn’t have done it without them Wine

SingingLily · 27/01/2020 17:14

How long before Jo writes her memoirs? I hear that David Cameron's shepherd's hut is going begging if she needs some peace and quiet.

DustyDiamond · 27/01/2020 17:08

David Cameron gave us the EU referendum. Gina Miller stopped Theresa May from unilaterally ratifying her own rotten deal. Jo Swinson kiboshed any need for a People's Vote. Jezza gave us a majority Conservative government.

I thank them all.

As do I Lily 🍷 🏅 🏆 ⭐️

😂😂😂😂😂😂

Custard, cream or ice cream

Any or all, Hospitality.

I did joke about this in a previous incarnation of the Arms but if, heaven forfend, there is ever a cyber war, everyone needs to get themselves over to ours. I've spent the last few days batch cooking for the freezer (useful as a distraction technique) and I could feed the whole street and still have enough left over for seconds.

SingingLily · 27/01/2020 16:56

Jo Swinson vowed to stop Brexit. But she did more than anybody else to make it happen

Do you know, that's true, Hospitality.

It's on the list of great achievements - accidental achievements, incidentally, but achievements all the same. David Cameron gave us the EU referendum. Gina Miller stopped Theresa May from unilaterally ratifying her own rotten deal. Jo Swinson kiboshed any need for a People's Vote. Jezza gave us a majority Conservative government.

I thank them all.

Mmmm... cherry pie with Amaretto. Custard, cream or ice cream Lily?

hospitalityinspector · 27/01/2020 16:51

I wonder where we would be now if it weren't for Jo Swinson?

Just taken a cherry pie out of the oven (my hand might have slipped when adding a dash of Amaretto) but sadly, Dom had already made a sharp exit. Clearly, he's heard about my cooking.

Mojitos on the bar for anyone who is in need of one.

🍸🍸🍸

SingingLily · 27/01/2020 15:58

That's OK, mummmy, mine is a new tablet and I'm still teaching it who is boss. It wouldn't accept Swinson - kept correcting it to Jo Swindon or Jo Swanson.

Poor Jo. Old news so soon.

mummmy2017 · 27/01/2020 15:53

Not sure why but my phone was auto correcting to Rabb from Raab.
Maybe it though he was half way to a Rabbit.

SingingLily · 27/01/2020 15:14

Usher him in!

hospitalityinspector · 27/01/2020 15:14

Look who I found lurking in the Arms' porch. He's here to service the coffee machine. Blush

And yes, he will do exactly what he's told, he knows the score

SingingLily · 27/01/2020 15:10

Am I too late for the Raab appreciation society meet up?

Never too late, Hospitality! There is a special corner of the snug for the Society. It's getting pretty crowded though.

Am I too late for the Raab appreciation society meet up? Grin

SingingLily · 27/01/2020 14:54

Do you happen to remember what the drama was please?

It's on the tip of my tongue, Autumn. I know that the review itself was enough to put me off.

mummmy2017 · 27/01/2020 14:52

Maybe Boris knows what he did in Rabb's job, so stuck a minion in the position.

NiceGuyNeddie · 27/01/2020 14:51

He looks like a cod. Each to their own tho!

howabout · 27/01/2020 14:50

I believe the phrase I'm looking for is " you do you" NiceGuyNeddie

howabout · 27/01/2020 14:49

Raab has degrees and prizes from Oxford and Cambridge despite coming from a very ordinary lower MC background. He did his legal training with Linklaters.

I very much doubt he is "thick as mince". Hmm
