And we mustn't forget Sir Bob. That stunt he pulled on the Thames most certainly pulled in a few votes for the Brexit side.

hospitalityinspector · 27/01/2020 19:33

Can add the majority of the Question Time panel from the last 4 years too.

hospitalityinspector · 27/01/2020 19:31

That's a genius plan Copper Grin
Don't forget Lily Allen.
The list is growing!

Coppersulphate · 27/01/2020 19:25

I do hope #Dimitri manages to sort out the courts so that they are unable to interfere in how our elected representatives run this country.

Coppersulphate · 27/01/2020 19:23

Can we add Hugh Grant.
Without him we would not have had Boris' election video "vote conservative actually"
And he said last week that the UK "is finished".

I think Boris should invite them all to no.10 but not tell the others who's coming. And give them a rousing thank you speech and a party.
And one of Dusty's 50p
And ask them if they would like to donate to the new Unleash Britain Fund.

SingingLily · 27/01/2020 19:06

Should we add Baroness Hale of Richmond to that list?

Indeed, Walking. Without Brenda engaging on "a frolic of her own" (a legal term), the "constitutional plumbing" that Robert Jenrick is planning to carry out to restore constitutional conventions and balance would never have been included in the manifesto or the Queen's Speech.

In their own small ways, they helped to restore democracy.

We should be indebted to them all.

Blair.

That man is pure gold.

Walkingdeadfangirl · 27/01/2020 19:06

yes, she was about as impartial as bullyboy Bercow was.

hospitalityinspector · 27/01/2020 18:59

Oh yes, spider woman. Didn't she gloat of her achievements at a talk she gave not long after?

Walkingdeadfangirl · 27/01/2020 18:55

Should we add Baroness Hale of Richmond to that list?

DustyDiamond · 27/01/2020 18:54

And Blair. Every time he intervened more people moved over to Leave.

😂😂😂😂😂

The deadlock and the court case against Boris also showed the true colours of ex MP's.

hospitalityinspector · 27/01/2020 18:34

dirty at least you knew where you were with JS, unlike Jezza's muddle. I still can't quite understand why remain voters didn't hold their noses and flock to the lib dems.

hospitalityinspector · 27/01/2020 18:30

Accidental achievers - I never really thought of it like that. Thank you to all of them.
It's almost impossible to choose a favourite, but Gina Miller saving us from Brino would be up there.

dirtyrottenscoundrel · 27/01/2020 18:17

Every time Jo Swinson opened her mouth Boris won another 1000 votes.

SingingLily · 27/01/2020 18:15

Soooooo true. God it must be bitter for every single one of them

I just like to think of them as Everyday Heroes.

Mr Bercow, of course, is another. His stellar performance as Speaker gave us...Sir Lindsay Hoyle and a nationwide appreciation of the return to calm, order, a sense of purpose, dignity, gravitas, and a tightly timetabled PMQs.

Coppersulphate · 27/01/2020 18:12

Perhaps we should nominate Gina Miller et al for honours for services to independence. And Blair. Every time he intervened more people moved over to Leave.
After all there is at least one spare seat in the lords.
They could all track up to York.

AutumnRose1 · 27/01/2020 18:10

5 years? No wonder I’m tired of politics!

AutumnRose1 · 27/01/2020 18:10

🎤 John Bercow
I can’t tell you how much pleasure it gives me to say that 🎤

MeganBacon · 27/01/2020 18:08

David Cameron gave us the EU referendum. Gina Miller stopped Theresa May from unilaterally ratifying her own rotten deal. Jo Swinson kiboshed any need for a People's Vote. Jezza gave us a majority Conservative government.
Soooooo true. God it must be bitter for every single one of them.

dirtyrottenscoundrel · 27/01/2020 17:57

I had my doubts 5 months ago mummmy2017 - but we bloody well did it! 🥳🍸🥳🍸

mummmy2017 · 27/01/2020 17:51

Five years ago I would never have thought we would be about to see this day

time4chocolate · 27/01/2020 17:44

She really deserves a medal for her services to Brexit.

Maybe we could fashion one out of the new 50p piece😊👍

Walkingdeadfangirl · 27/01/2020 17:43

Just noticed that Dominic Frisbys '17 Million Fck Offs' is number 1* in the Amazon Bestsellers Rank.

Awesome.

Walkingdeadfangirl · 27/01/2020 17:32

We have so much to thank Gina Miller for. God bless, without her we would have been stuck in BRINO. She really deserves a medal for her services to Brexit.

SingingLily · 27/01/2020 17:21

I’d pay good money to see Gina Millers face on Friday

😂 Dirty.

She must know. She must know the true value of what she has done.
