I'm still so torn. In a single sentence can you say who you are voting for and why?

Labour

Corbyn may not be the best , but you vote for the policy not the person.

We must stop the continuing privatisation of the nhs.

milkysmum · 11/12/2019 20:07

Labour. As a nurse I cannot stand the thought of conservatives staying in power. Green Party has my heart but I need to vote tactically to try and keep Boris out.

FreyaMountstuart · 11/12/2019 20:05

Labour - hopefully to reverse both Brexit and austerity

Helmlover1 · 11/12/2019 20:05

Labour- to save our NHS, end austerity, invest in our public services, a people’s vote on Brexit and to clean up the mess the Tories have done over the last 9 years.

danni0509 · 11/12/2019 20:02

Labour.

SN child here with complex needs and the cuts over the last few years means he gets minimal support.

The money just isn't available.

Not really sure if it will be any better with labour in charge but I'm willing to take a risk, surely can't get any worse!

We can't get ds the specialist peidro boots he* has* to wear until February because he has had a pair a few months ago, but the sole has completely fallen off this pair.

His nhs Orthotist said she would try and get the broken ones repaired in the mean time (bless her) but they are not allowed to issue a new pair until his next booked appointment (end of feb) as they don't have the additional funds. (Honestly, she told me this)

Ridiculous. I'll sort something for him in the meantime, but how has it got that bad that they can't issue a disabled child with the specialised boots he needs to support his feet and ankles.

The most vulnerable are suffering and it needs to change.

MistyMinge2 · 11/12/2019 20:02

Labour, because their policies match my beliefs the closest. I can't stand the thought of Boris remaining our PM. Him and the rest of the cabinet are a bunch of self serving, lying bastards who don't care about the people that are most affected by the shit show they've been running.

MrsJasonIsbell · 11/12/2019 20:02

SNP because we are lucky to have the choice

boredboredboredboredbored · 11/12/2019 20:02

Labour. Was very undecided but on the whole I just can't bring myself to vote Tory. I live in a Tory strong hold so no doubt plebgate (Andrew Mitchell)will still be gurning on the front of the local paper next week.

Aheraldangel · 11/12/2019 20:02

No Milktray, we mean people who are ill or disabled or through some circumstances ended up badly off, whatever the reason. It could happen to any of us. No one should be living on the street or going hungry in this day and age.

ChalkieWhite · 11/12/2019 20:01

Conservative, because I went to the hustings, and she was the only candidate who had brio about her. I asked the Labour candidate what day of the week it was, and I still wasn't sure of the answer.

dementedma · 11/12/2019 20:00

No idea. Not Tory because dislike Johnston and fear for the NHS.
Not labour as Corbyn is weak and I remember life when the unions had control.
Not Lib Dem becuase of the erosion of womens rights
Not SNP because of independence and being a one trick party
Not Green as they sold themselves to be the SNP's bitches to create a majority in the Scottish parliament.

Who does that leave?

ShouldI101 · 11/12/2019 19:59

Green. Because if we have no habitable planet left there's not much point arguing about anything else.

doublebarrellednurse · 11/12/2019 19:59

I want Brexit asap and sick of people going on about 'privileged' people - do you mean people who have got off their backsides and worked at a decent job to earn money

No they are talking about those who have inherited vast wealth and those who maintain their wealth by choosing tax avoidance over contributing to society.

I get off my ass and work 60 hour weeks and have a very good job. I'm in no way privileged. Wealthy doesn't always = hard work.

By the opposite of your comments does that mean all under privileged people are lazy and sat on their ass all day? Not so palatable when you put it like that is it....

GoingBackTo505 · 11/12/2019 19:58

Labour. Would like the chance to vote on Brexit again and would like longer statutory maternity leave. (Amongst other things!)

PostNotInHaste · 11/12/2019 19:57

Lib Dem - tactical vote in attempt to get rid of ERG Tory MP.

HettyStThomas · 11/12/2019 19:56

Labour

I'm a teacher. We have lost 40 members of staff since the conservatives came in. We've just been told another 6 teachers have to be made redundant this year due to more budget cuts. I already teach classes of 39 and this will now go up to at least 45.

Anotheruser02 · 11/12/2019 19:55

Labour, I want to remain and the homelessness situation in my area is getting worse.

MrsBungle · 11/12/2019 19:55

Green. Best of a bad bunch.

rosie1959 · 11/12/2019 19:54

Conservative because Socialism is great until you run out of other people's money

TuppenceDarling · 11/12/2019 19:54

Green.
Because I’m a scientist and I trust the current climate predictions. I’m also scared the Tories will prevail... that would be a disaster for our future.

WifeofDarth · 11/12/2019 19:53

Labour. I do not want to have to choose which children in my class get the support they need, I want every child to have that opportunity

MilkTrayLimeBarrel · 11/12/2019 19:53

I want Brexit asap and sick of people going on about 'privileged' people - do you mean people who have got off their backsides and worked at a decent job to earn money and look after their family???

Adollop · 11/12/2019 19:51

Labour because I want to stop Brexit and I believe the government should look after less privileged people.

MilkTrayLimeBarrel · 11/12/2019 19:50

Conservative - because any other vote would be damaging for our country.

BlueEyedFloozy · 11/12/2019 19:50

Although with that said, in the current political climate I have no faith in anyone and don't know who i'd actually vote for other than to get rid of the Tory's.
