Tactical vote or vote with my heart

I live in a Tory constituency that's been identified as one that can be taken by Labour if tactical voting is employed. I really don't want our Tory MP back in but am not usually a Labour voter and have generally voted Lib Dem or Green. Lib Dem and Green don't stand a chance in my city though.

Do I vote tactically or with my heart knowing that my vote won't achieve anything?

I will hold my nose and vote tactically to keep the Tories out. I'd like to vote green but they don't stand a chance in my Con/Lab marginal, so I'll have to vote Labour. Can't say I relish the prospect as I'm so disappointed in them on several different fronts, but the Tories are worse so I have no choice.

What's more important to you? Unseating the tory, or wasting your vote on a candidate that doesn't stand a chance.

I'm struggling with voting labour this time, despite always having done so. But I have, because in the relatively safe tory seat that I live in they're the only ones that stand a chance.

I don't particularly want a corbyn govt, but the thought of a tory majority parliament is making me genuinely worried and nervous.

Vote tactically; this isn’t an exercise in philosophy it’s all about tangible change, which can involve compromise. Use your vote and your insight together.
