Election night: Do you stay up for the results to come in?

No party politics/ campaigning / swearing/ ranting please.... just answers to a straightforward question

DH & I tend to stay up until about 2 am with some cheese & biscuits /fruit and wine to see which direction it's heading.

It's fun when you have those 'were you up for Portillo?' moments...

What do you do?

I tend to pull the sofa bed out downstairs in front of the telly and stay 'up' but in bed, and doze in and out through the small hours, always find I wake up when something interesting happens.

We always host an election night party. Am currently baking cup cakes decorated as ballot boxes.

We always stay up and then regret it as the results are not properly known until the morning. It's the excitement...
