More than one Labour member, candidates and MPs have been suspended.

In fact one prominent Labour vice chairperson was suspended last week for false flag allegations and the Manchester attack.

Even LibDems have had issues.

All parties have there issues.

Ahh, another caring Tory MP, bit like the one from Bath that said those in receipt of free school lunches were scum and should be eradicated.
Or the guy from Nottinghamshire who stated that a man with learning difficulties should learn time keeping. He was four minutes late for his appointment and was sanctioned.

I hope, but can;t see it happening. I do think there is a large chance they will lose some seats though and am finding it rather amusing that she called this election as she was so sure she would walk it, and the lead is lowering by the day. I still think the Tories will win, but they will not do as well as May thought they would do. I can actually see a hung parliament in the days ahead...

Head I think to an extent you are right. There are fluctuating conditions and some that improve with time. However, I do think that some conditions should be left alone. An adult with Cerebral Palsy, a degenerative disease, or a mental illness such as schizophrenia should perhaps be left alone.
As for life saving surgery being cancelled, trust me, it happens a fair bit these parts.

If she had grown up still needing help, reports from consultants, evidence that she couldn't cope in life but was turned down and forced to appeal and appeal...left with no money and no support.

Would it be worth it then for the minuscule amount of 'chancers' that get caught out?

I do think it's right that disability claims are reassessed periodically. We were in the unfortunate position if have an allowance due to our daughter being quite disabled as a young child. However with age she improved, as those children often do. I gather I could have happily took the payment for years without reassessment. It was only because I wrote to them to stop the payment as I felt we no longer qualified they did so!

There other thing that does concern me is the NHS. I can only say what I see, (I'm a nurse) but by the end if the last labour govt patients were being cancelled for life saving surgery regularly. I don't see that these days.

They promised to trim the fat, and are now hacking at bare bones - a step too far for most!

But how can a politically driven Brexit ever be good for the country? We need something neutral without the taint of party politics?

Re varying degrees of fuck up, May has shown her true colours now...timid re policy, easily influenced (responding to Tory fears in changing policy), panic. strong and stable, good deal blah blah blah. What is it you want will be the EU response. What does May want?! What IS a good deal?

I am hoping it will backfire on May for calling an election in the same way as it backfired for Cameron when he went for the referendum.

May was so sure it was going to be an easy victory that she didn't realise she may have to fight for it. She has proved to be weak and someone who cannot stand up to debate or even deal with members of the public when they ask her a question she doesn't like.
There are only so many times we need to hear 'strong economy' and 'strong leadership' and bloody 'strong and stable' without her actually explaining how those phrases apply to them. Apart from that, she says little else of anything solid.

But there are varying degrees of fuck-up!

It's the baby boomers (not all of them obvs) - they are determined to send this country to the dogs. Yes they want the Winter of Discontent back.
It's all very difficult to tell what will happen. In our house we have or will vote for 3 different parties. I like Jeremy Corbyn but could never vote for him. He has stuck to his principles all of his political life and that's quite admirable. I don't want him, Abbot, McDonnell and Thornbury in power though. DH thinks May is an idiot. So much confusion. I could kick David Cameron up the arse for starting it all.

Latest YouGov projection thingy has Tories at 4 point lead which is 1 up from yesterday.
