Better childcare , better education , better work life balance, a stop to the continuous privatisation of our NHS what's not to like? House building with really affordable homes too. When people are better off they put back more into the economy and even the corporation tax increase back to what it was will still be lower than most of Europe so where would they go exactly? As a mum and Primary teacher I'm not keen on May or Corbyn but as a 55 year old I know Labour have always been better for us working and stay at home Mums and Dads I will definitely be voting Labour

There are many who just manage private school so taxing them more will push many into the state system

The public services are a mess currently. My view is that anyone who works for police, in education
who works for them should vote corbyn

If he came out to say my tax won't be funding methadone for the junkies..... then I might consider a vote.....
or that benefit money won't be allowed to get spent on cigarettes or alcohol for people with addiction problems then great!!!

Firstly, I am sorry about your DH's cancer diagnosis and I hope he is well now and continues in good health.
Now .....
When your DH was ill you said that he was able to work through it. Well for many many people this is not an option. For people in lower paid work, where their work depends on them being present, they are forced to remain at home and ultimately sacked as they are deemed to be unable to fulfill their duties. Seems a bit harsh no? Glad that didn't happen to your DH.
But this is what comes next ..... during the period of their cancer treatment they are forced to claim benefits. Then they are sent for an ATOS assessment. And found fit for work .... I know ...the irony.

It's happening all the time. All over the country.
To have private health insurance is a privilege. It gives you access to better, faster treatment. It is quite right that people are going to be taxed on it. (You already are being taxed on it BTW)
You say you experienced poor SEN provision for your child under a Labour government. Well since 2010 that has become a lot worse. Thousands of families have to fight tooth and nail for provision for their children. And it's only going to get worse as Tory cuts start to bite
I'm glad that you were able to take your child out of the system. Good for you but that is not an option for the vast majority of people. So it also right and fair that private school fees are taxed also.
You say you 'didn't claim anything you were entitled to' - Well you obviously didn't need it then did you?

In the debates Corbyn said he would increase corporation tax to 26% which it was in 2010. He's simply putting it back to what it was. Well this didn't stop new businesses opening and growing then, it didn't make businesses go abroad as I thought it's still low in comparison to other countries. So I can't see this happening if labour gets in and increase it.

However, I also think he needs to stop the loopholes big businesses use to get out of paying corporation tax otherwise it will just have a negative effect on smaller/medium sized businesses. I think they will simply find new ways to get around it.

It was horrific, people were happy yet vicious we didn't leave then people were angry that they didn't get to leave.
There was no good side to be on!

I just want a country that's fair but with either governments this won't happen.

And just so you hate me that little more, my children go to a private school, I've used private health insurance which has saved members of my family and also saved the state money.
I have my own business and ALL of my employees are on the living wage AT least!
