You know what, Corbyn could actually win this election.

He really could, the polls are looking good for labour.
TM might regret her decision to call this snap election.

I question why Tory voters don't want to make their support known. I get criticised on a daily basis for my leftist views but that wouldn't stop me from vocalising my opinion. I don't preach and will happily discuss why I hold the views I do. Surely if you are happy to vote Tory you shouldn't be ashamed. People say it's because they will be Abused but I have seen more negativity aimed towards the left than the other way round!

I'm really pleased to see the gap is closing between the Conservatives and Labour. I would love to see Labour win, but sadly I think it's unlikely. What an amazing feat that would be for Corbyn though if he did manage to pull it off!

Nah. Not where I love. It's the safest safe seat for Tories and if they lose to anyone it might be Lib Dem. Labour have 4% of the vote!!!

I don't think he'll win but it will be a lot closer than originally predicted. The care bill thing will really shoot the tories in the foot. We know most voters vote for their own self interest and this will hit 2 of their core target groups hard. The reasonably well off elderly and the middle aged people expecting to inherit from them. It's a perfectly reasonable plan imo but I don't think it's reasonable to expect people to vote for it!

Merry, my facebook is the same however, we tend to align ourselves with people with the same values as ourselves and our feeds show this.

Sadly I don't think he will. I remember with the last election and the EU referendum I started to think Labour would win and that we'd remain in the EU. But I've realised it's because I read things biased to my point of view, eg my FB friends all share similar values, the suggested content tends to come from the independent, etc so I was guilty of being in my own little bubble.

In the city I live in there are three city wards, all of which tend to normally be labour, but there are seven wards in the county which all tend to be tory. The majority of the population live in the city but because of the voting system their voices count for less.

I don't understand how people can vote Labour when the sums just don't add up?

I love a lot of their policies - but they're totally unrealistic. They'll never happen.

I think social media helps. I've only seen one pro Tory post on my FB

I'm voting Tory and I wouldn't share anything on Facebook because people get a bit hysterical about all Tory supporters being evil child hating factory owners etc.

Whatever the outcome, I hope he remains the party leader (and I didn't feel that way a few weeks ago).

He has engaged people in politics that others could not, he has shown that some in power do listen irrespective of your background or circumstances. He has given people hope for a kinder future.

I don't think so. I also hope not. I am normally a lib dem or labour voter, but I think Corbyn's Labour would be a disaster. You can't just keep giving away free money to solve all problems ever when you're ACTUALLY in charge. I also have serious questions with the way he has dealt with bullying, murky views and sexism in his party.
