It does amaze me that people moan about how awful the NHS is at the moment and our rubbish education system, then vote Tory. I don't understand the logic one bit.

This gets said a lot but it isn't true, and anyone who thinks about it knows it isn't true. I am a Tory and I believe in public services, but they need to be paid for.

Currently Labour could not organise a piss up in a brewery - they are a shambles and you want people to vote for that? A complete unmitigated disaster zone? I didn't vote Tory btw but there's not a chance come hell nor high water that Labour could get its arse together and become electable in 35 days.

I am so bored of people complaining about election results - we have a democratic system, we all get to vote and we can vote however we like safely.

Ramping up the vitriol towards the EU is hardly conducive to a smooth Brexit, is it? Which we will need if we want a strong and stable economy

Cutting funding to education, therefore wiping out the chances of many many children is hardly the basis on which we found a strong and stable economy business keep bleating on about how your young people don't have the right skills, yet the Tories cut funding to schools and demoralise a significant proportion of the teachers.

Theresa May hasn't said how she will deliver a strong and stable economy.

Everyone would like to write a blank cheque to the NHS and schools, have more bank holidays and do what we please, but we can not saddle the next generation with these enormous debts. It's not fair.

I don't believe it's a question of not enough money. It's a matter of ideology and priorities. The Tories don't believe in public services. The party stands for each person fending for itself and that includes paying for their own education and healthcare. Therefore they prioritise their spending in other areas.

I'm astonished that people with children in state schools or people who use the NHS are able to turn a blind eye to the degradation of our public services as a result of all the funding cuts, thereby supporting this. I don't understand it. I can only assume it's because they either don't believe it's happening or they don't understand it.

I'm amazed that people think that we can trust Philip Hammond and Teresa May to act in the interests of 'ordinary working people' after the National Insurance fiasco.

Now Boris didn't get in to lead the Conservative party so point proven.

Labour aren't going to win, so it doesn't really matter that much how much of an arse Corbyn is - I hope he goes, and soon. But I want my local Labour MP to stay, so I'll be voting Labour for that reason as much as the fact that Labour are the only party I could ever put my cross next to.

I do hope they sort themselves out soon.

I don't make the connection personally between voting Tory and being ashamed of using public services. If anything, it's probably predominantly Tory voters' taxes on their second homes paying for them so why not?! Might get the bus today now you've mentioned it....

It's all relative, isn't it, OP. We need our economy to be as strong and secure as possible to pay for everything we want / need.

We have to chose whether we want Theresa May and Phil Hammond or Jeremy Corbin and John McDonell to be in charge of that.

Don't criticise me for choosing Conservative in that situation.
