"and that represents an existential threat to their plans to control the world's population"
Who are these elites that want to control the world's population? Are they the same structure Southall described? How many of them are there?

squishysquirmy · 24/11/2016 23:37

Just because we've read the threads Claig, doesn't mean we've believed them. It's called critical thinking.

Southallgirl · 24/11/2016 23:34

Am I imagining it, Claig, but didnt HC's campaign manager ask Trump to concede defeat, and he said No. Soon after, the result was confirmed.

If I'm not imagining it, what did HC hv to gain? Even if Trump had prematurely thrown in the towel, the result would hv reversed that?

squishysquirmy · 24/11/2016 23:34

Sorry - I put Kaija on my last post, when I very obviously meant Southall. Hope that hasn't confused Chris too much. Wink. I am beginning to get tired.

claig · 24/11/2016 23:32

'Sounds like you've got Donald firmly in the middle of your elites there.'

No. Where have you been the past 15 months of this election. Have you not read these threads explaining the Trumpageddon and predicting that Trump would win over a year ago when all the teams said he had no chance.

Trump is an "existential" threat to the elites. That is why they are panicked and that is why the media all shilled for Hillary and the Oxbridge teams are smearing Trump with anything they can make up.

They don't like Trump for one single reason and it is not misogyny and racism and extremism etc because the eluites love the Saudis. The elites fear Trump because he is for

"Americanism not globalism"

and that represents an existential threat to their plans to control the world's population.

It is game over for them. They couldn't beat Trump with all their money, media, teams and lies and now that he has the reins of power, they are on the run.

Kaija · 24/11/2016 23:30

I am particularly interested in the media control question, Southall, as that is one of the most concerning things about Trump to my mind (in a crowded field).

squishysquirmy · 24/11/2016 23:29

Kaija, can you tell me what the solution is to the discrepancy in the political beliefs of academics compared to the population as a whole?

squishysquirmy · 24/11/2016 23:28

If I get T-shirts printed with "screeching anti-Trump mob" on the front, do you think "the Squishy & Kaija show" would look good on the back?

Kaija · 24/11/2016 23:27

Southall I was trying to engage with you. I'm actually genuinely interested to know what your alternative vision is and how it might work.

squishysquirmy · 24/11/2016 23:26

It wasn't a throw away comment.
I was pointing out that the (very long) paper you linked to - like the one posted by Claig in the very first post does not glorify revolutions.

Kaija · 24/11/2016 23:25

Sounds like you've got Donald firmly in the middle of your elites there.

claig · 24/11/2016 23:24

'Shes earned a tad more respect than that.'

Agree, Chris, Camille Paglia is excellent and that is a very good article on political correctness that Tropezianne posted originally

Southallgirl: "The proportion of far left academics in British universities is completely out of proportion with national population norms."
So what do you want to do about it? have some sort of quota system when employing academics in universities to make sure that their political beliefs correspond to population as a whole? How would this be implemented?

Southallgirl · 24/11/2016 23:24

This all sounds like the Squishy & Kaija Show. Turgid.

claig · 24/11/2016 23:22

'Could you define elite for us again? '

The elite are the 0.7% of the population that control more wealth than billions of people combined. They install puppets and communists to rule for them in order to keep the people down and to prevent them challenging them.

"Your link certainly makes revolutions sound fun
quote: A first generation of daring rebels overthrows a fossilized establishment and leaves the landscape littered with ruins. In the post-revolutionary era, the rebels begin to fight among themselves, which may lead to persecutions and assassinations. The victorious survivor then rules like the tyrants who were toppled in the first place"

Squishy, only you can dismiss a paper written by Camille Paglia with one of your throw aways....

Shes earned a tad more respect than that.

Kaija · 24/11/2016 23:19

Sorry Claig still can't make sense of it. Could you define elite for us again? I understand it doesn't include billionaire fraudsters but does include communists and people who went to University (does that include Trump Uni?), although doesn't include Tories who went to University as long as they say they don't like experts, but I'm afraid beyond that I'm lost.

Southallgirl · 24/11/2016 23:18

"that sort of anti-intellectualism boils my piss."

For goodness sake. It's not everyone in academia or religion. Religion has always been a useful tool of control. It need not be, but it has been.

"The proportion of far left academics in British universities is completely out of proportion with national population norms. An example? A leading prof at King's London, a Professor of European Studies, has been on the leadership of the Trotskyite Socialist Workers Party since the 1970s. He has been hugely influential in the lives of hundreds of students. The political indoctrination of students under the guise of university teaching has gone unchallenged in British academia for far too long."

'Whose this aimed at squishy? Who are you quoting here?'Whose this aimed at squishy? Who are you quoting here?'

That was my criticism of the Project Fear stuff used in Brexit and everywhere else they try to fool the people, in the article in the OP.

"Chris: So why so keen to defend him? "

Because, as Ive said before, you dont send the Dalai Lama in to sort out the corruption in the US politics. Trump is an American solution to an American problem. Damn right I would have voted for him.

squishysquirmy · 24/11/2016 23:17

Cross post Chris? I thought Claig had posted your link. It directly conflicted with a post he made right at the beginning of the thread, which I quoted.
Does that help?

squishysquirmy · 24/11/2016 23:14

Claig: It was Chrisnumber's post, I mistook it for yours, and apologised for the mistake up thread.

Chris1234567890 · 24/11/2016 23:14

"Almost comes full circle to the link in the op doesn't it? Which you criticised with the words: He thinks that human history is based on cycles i.e. no free will essentially and predetermined outcomes reoccur at regular cyclical intervals. But this is wrong...
So do things run in cycles, or not?"

Whose this aimed at squishy? Who are you quoting here? (gosh youre making this really difficult to keep up)

claig · 24/11/2016 23:13

'What was your actual point?'

That one form of control that elites like is communism, but that Trump has got their number and is ending globalism and promoting "Americanism not globalism" which is why it is game over for the elites and their teams.

OP posts:
claig · 24/11/2016 23:11

'Your link certainly makes revolutions sound fun'

What link are you talking about so I can read it.
