Media coverage deliberately biased against Corbyn, British public believes

The public understand the media's game.

There is no fooling the public or the Corbynistas. The usual tactics of the metropolitan elite have failed.

Absolutely. Corbyn has rocked the "magic circle's" roundabout, he has upset their cushy ride. That is why the 172 have been called upon to try and derail Corbyn's revolution, but the Corbynistas are wise to the tricks and spin of the media and the people of the country agree with them that the media is biased against Corbyn.

Remember the doom and gloom and punishment budgets the "magic roundabout" told us what would happen to us if we chose to disbelieve the "magic circle" about Brexit.

The "magic circle" have lost their touch, they can't bewitch the people any more, they can't pull an Establishment media rabbit out of a hat any more and Corbyn says he is going to break their "magic circle".

The "magic circle" are waving their wands like Don Quixote to no effect, but the people have gorn Corbyn crazy and are waiting for Corbyn to break the "magic circle".

Many Corbynistas - including myself - are wary of showing our faces just yet. We don't want our (supporter) vote cancelled. What support should I give to a party when it wouldn't let me vote as a member, despite all the blurb promising me I would be able to. Once the party conference happens, THEN the Corbynistas will come out of hiding from the local parties.

The golden circle was something to do with the media establishment (how many is there) that Jeremey is also going to take on and break up

The Establishment want to maintain the stitch-up and the people of the country think that the Establishment media is biased and has been set on Corbyn in order to prevent him dismantling what he called their "magic circle". Fingers crossed for Corbyn.

Absolutely. "Magic circle" and "all in it together" spring to mind. Fingers crossed that Corbyn beats the 172.

Not off topic in the slightest: it's about your use of the term "the Establishment". I gathered from your comments on this thread that you believe the anti-Corbyn media to be very much part of this. Is that not correct?

Claig, we've already been through the Owen Jones thing. Last time, when you were defending the right wing "anti-establishment" on the Trump/Farage thread, you referred us to Owen Jones, but when pressed on the detail, you demurred and said he'd got it all wrong.

Just tell us what you think "the Establishment" want, and how Corbyn and Farage are both going to save us from it.

I refer you to Owen Jones's book called "The Establishment and how they get away with it". He doesn't get who they are, but he knows they are about.

I can't see Thornberry has anything going for her beyond an authoritative speaking voice; listen to the content and she is uninspiring, occasionally veering into sneery.

I have abandoned Labour. I was even thinking of joining and volunteering my time locally but Owen Smith is the final crappy straw. I feel like a weight has been lifted Tbh..

What enthusiasm and the cat said. I am a labour voter but no way am I voting for Corbyn. From first hand accounts of him he's not inclusive at all, quite the opposite.

Seriously, who are "The Establishment"? It's a crazy, floating signifier, the content of which changes on who is doing the pointing, and who they are pissed off with this week: the people who run Channel 4; the urban elites, bankers, metropolitan liberals, everyone who lives in that there London, MI5 ...

It needs to be confronted, now, because it is delivering our democracy (which has worked pretty well, actually,) into the hands of a coalition of unelected, non-representative, neo-nativist, ultra-free-market nutters.

This, ultimately, is good only for those who would like to see the UK become a low-employment, weak-government, low-regulation tax haven.

I'm no fan of Corbyn but I do resent the press giving him the 'bacon roll' treatment because it's not good for democracy in Britain.
