What happens if Trump wins?

I know the comments Trump has made about blocking Muslims from the USA, and building a wall between the states and Mexico. But what will the world look like if he becomes president? People seem to be afraid of his success and suggest we 'should push the button now' or that he will be assassinated. Surely he comments are to stir up media interest?

BTW, US history is full of backing up the wrong fighters and kicking themselves for doing so eventually.
Nobody can really claim the higher ground.

Except Trump, of course. He's just backed the wrong businesses.

And his reliance on Putin is not going to backfire at all. Ever.

Lweji · 05/08/2016 01:04

Trump will say everything.

Why doesn't he once and for all, then?
Considering how loud mouthed he is, I can only conclude he's bluffing.

Threesoundslikealot · 05/08/2016 01:00

Thank you. I see the potential connection. Hard though to see what Trump will be revealing that Reuters, Business Insider, The Times and the Telegraph, to name but some of the sources quoted in that article, didn't make public over two years ago.

'Pulitzer-Prize Winning Reporter Sy Hersh: Benghazi Is a HUGE Scandal … But Not For the Reason You Think'

Trump will end up revealing everything. He is not mucking about. This is real which is why Davos are in pieces.

“We will no longer surrender this country or its people to the false song of globalism,” Trump promised during a speech in Washington.

“I am skeptical of international unions that tie us up and bring America down,” he claimed.

Threesoundslikealot · 05/08/2016 00:48

SalemsLott, you must live in Davos! Trump and his friend Putin are going to end all wars.

SalemsLott · 05/08/2016 00:44

Putin and Trump, sounds like a dystopian nightmare tbh.

ChipsandGuac · 05/08/2016 00:40

Sorry Claig! But, you know, the difference between us is that I will actually have to live in the US if Trump gets elected. You won't.

Threesoundslikealot · 05/08/2016 00:37

Foxing, not fixing. The exact opposite!!!!

Threesoundslikealot · 05/08/2016 00:36

I feel thoroughly reassured that foreign policy issues which are fixing the whole world will be sorted out so quickly and easily by Trump and Putin. Phew!

Threesoundslikealot · 05/08/2016 00:35

'Benghazi etc'? Can you explain how the two things 'tie in'? They seem pretty disparate to me.

claig · 05/08/2016 00:32

'The most vocal Trump supporters I know are all now backing Hillary or not voting at all.'

Chips, are these people RINOs?

ChipsandGuac · 05/08/2016 00:29

I'm beginning to think Trump might finally be fucked. The most vocal Trump supporters I know are all now backing Hillary or not voting at all.

claig · 05/08/2016 00:25

'So arms sent to Syria (possibly misguidedly)'

Many people say it all ties in with Benghazi etc. Trump will say everything.

claig · 05/08/2016 00:21

'Trump will nuke them all though. No ambiguity with him!'

No, Trump disagrees with the whole policy of helping the Jihadis and mercenaries who are opposing Assad. Trump will probably do a deal with Putin and sort the whole lot out which will involve Assad or his faction ragining control of Syria. Wait until what is really going on comes out. Trump has Lt Col Mike Flynn backing him, former head of the Defense Intelligence Agency. He knows exactly what has been going on. It will all be changing when Trump gets in.

Threesoundslikealot · 05/08/2016 00:02

Thank you.

Interesting. So arms sent to Syria (possibly misguidedly) may have ended up with ISIS? Believable. Hard to know how relevant the congressional evidence is without more details though.

Trump will nuke them all though. No ambiguity with him!

A small hand or a big hand?

claig · 04/08/2016 23:11

I think this is what Roger Stone is referring to when he said "they know what's coming and it will be devastating". We will have to wait amd see if Assange has anything or not.

Craig! Hello.

Could you provide YouTube links? I'm interested.

PacificDogwod · 04/08/2016 21:54

Erm, yes, it was indeed your link, Lweji - sorry Blush

Yes, the Swiss are very stoic, of course.

"Trump is going nowhere, apart from the White House"

News sometime during January 2017:
Security catches desperate male intruder, with small hands and weird long blonde hair for his age, on the grounds of the White House. He tried to run towards the house screaming I know houses, I have the best houses and this is mine, mine.
Clearly the fault lies in the White House not having a bigger wall, preferably paid by losing candidate to the Presidency.

Lweji · 04/08/2016 21:41

Pacific. Don't you mean the one I posted? I found the comment (following post). :)

You never know. People in Davos could be over invested and simply keeping a brave face outside their homes.

PacificDogwod · 04/08/2016 21:36

Lweji, the link that StorminaBcup posted - read the comments below.

Acrossthepond, I have this theory that everything in life can be explained as a pissing contest Grin
It really would be funny if it was not so serious.

claig, Davos is a lovely town in Switzerland, great skiing. It did not strike me as desperate.
