Trump has teased there will be a huge announcement at his rally in Ames, Iowa tonight. Special guest will be there.

Elites across the world are in panic, luvvies are having a lie down, Oxbridge is tuned in, PPES are petrified.

Will Palin endorse Trump? Is it game over for the Establishment?

No one knows. Elites are in meltdown and Trump fans are already doing the hokey-cokey.

The blacks have the race card,
The feminists have the gender card,
The muslims have the religion card,
The homosexuals have the gay card,
So what card card do straight white anglo saxon males have?
The trump card.

better known as

The Joker !

I could probably live with John Kasich as the GOP candidate.

Are the members of the silent majority now using mime? That could work.

AthelstaneTheUnready · 22/01/2016 21:48

apologies; context:

the silent majority. They don't speak up in case they are ridiculed by the BBC and the political class, but ... the silent majority is not silent anymore

AthelstaneTheUnready · 22/01/2016 21:46

I'm finding I quite appreciate a silent majority who are now speaking up whilst remaining entirely silent. It's peaceful.

Lweji · 22/01/2016 21:30

Would that be like a sex dream where you witness them going at each other?

I suspect a love story there.
They get elected, divorced (if not already - who keeps up anyway?) And the VP moves into the White House.
Then we wake up in the shower and find out this whole year was all a bad dream and the republican candidate was actually someone half decent. (OK, the latter is too unrealistic)

cdtaylornats · 22/01/2016 21:26

Trump/Palin, the dream team - if you like to wake up screaming

I think you'd enjoy this analysis. :)

Sadly I have no access to the full text. Sad

But the elites know how to treat themselves.

Apparently.

I bet Trump has one of these:

(note: they underestimate their capacity to reach their bunkers, though)
ouryve · 22/01/2016 11:21

Even DH's KH loving colleague thinks Trump's a muppet.

#ElitePanic!

claig · 22/01/2016 10:33

'And if it's bad?'

No problem, please report back on it. Nothing can stop Trump. Davos are in meltdown, they have never faced a challenge like this before. The USA is back and there is panic among the elites.

OP posts:
SonyaAtTheSamovar · 22/01/2016 10:15

And if it's bad?

claig · 22/01/2016 10:09

'I'll see if I can judge their Trumpiteness.'

Please do and report back if it is good news.

Now go easy claig. You'll do yourself some damage..

I'll see if I can judge their Trumpiteness.

claig · 22/01/2016 10:02

SonyaAtTheSamovar, you are right, and it is these great patriotic Americans who will propel Trump to the Presidency which will make America great again and which will help all of us in Europe get our politically correct political classes of metropolitan elitists off our backs too.

All eyes are on America, the land of liberty, and it is Americans and Trump who will help us here too.

This is all you need to know about whose side to be on

"Davos elite alarmed at prospect of nominee Trump"

www.reuters.com/article/us-davos-meeting-trump-elite-idUSKCN0UZ2MD

It's Trump vs Davos, the people vs the elites, America vs political correctness, the silent majority vs the metropolitan elite.

That's why we are all stumping for Trump. We're going to win.

Trump 2016!

Tea party is a very loose term as I am using it . These are essentially not political people whom I think were democrats.

They are patriotic Americans though, in that way that seems odd to Britons of the same generation.

claig · 22/01/2016 09:39

'on the tea party folk and see if they are loving the Donald'

The real hard Tea Party types don't like Trump, they prefer Cruz. They are ideological and don't represent the Silent Majority. That is why it was so important for Trump to get Palin's approval because all Tea Partiers love Sarah. As she said, the Establishment are now trying to trick people into thinking that Donald isn't a "real conservative" etc.

Trump isn't an ideological Tea Partier, he is a liberal conservative just like most of the silent majority. What most conservative people want is politicians who are not politically correct and who dare to challenge the elites, who create employment, bring jobs back, lower taxes and restore freedoms and end the silencing of the silent majority via political correctness.

The biggest Trump fans on the planet are the Stump for Trump sisters who used to be Democrats but now support the Donald which shows Trump's appeal across all of the people.

never heard Cameron mention it,

SonyaAtTheSamovar · 22/01/2016 09:20

OK I will get my indirect social media feedback on the tea party folk and see if they are loving the Donald.

I hope his dig at John McCain's war record would be memorably crude enough to sway their opinion. If not I will have to break my vow, join the Faceache and remind them of it.

No one at my bus stop rates him. And if I spread the rumour that he (probably) hates tea there goes the tea room crowd.

Lweji · 22/01/2016 09:19

I'd find it very odd that the former head of the FSB, and even as Russian president, didn't speak any English at all.
Which is why I googled it.

'Just saying I personally know noone who loves Trump like claig!'

They are everywhere - the silent majority. They don't speak up in case they are ridiculed by the BBC and the political class, but they are out there in tea rooms, at bus stops and everywhere apart from the Westminster bubble.

The phrase that Trumpites use is

"the silent majority is not silent anymore"

'How does someone who appears to put as much effort into politics as you OP not find out that someone as significant as Vladimir Putin speaks English? '

Never heard it, never read it, never heard Cameron mention it, never seen the BBC discuss it. They always tell us he speaks fluent Geman, but never heard mention that he speaks any English.
