Ed Miliband excellent on Andrew Marr Show

I have been a fan of Ed Miliband for quite a while now. I think he is really good. He is serious, doesn't seek the limelight, just does and says things for real. As Matthew Parris said on the Andrew Marr Show today, Ed Miliband has got dignity. I think he has got real class, not the type that is bought by fees at a private school, and not the type that thinks it is above the ordinary people. He doesn't have to shout, he doesn't have to swear, he doesn't have to bully because he has got real class, something that money and privilege can't buy.

Am I the only one who thinks he is the biz, a prime ministerial political whizz?

He went to Haverstock School, he ain't no fool, he plays by the rules. He ain't no toff, he don't say things that are off; just cos he's a celeb, he don't think we are plebs. They say he's a wonk and a geek, I think they've got a cheek trying to put him down, he is himself, he don't act the clown. He's gonna try with all his might to do the things that are right. He's on our side, not in it for the ride, the type of thing the public can't abide.

At school they didn't call him 'Thrasher', he ain't nothing like Dennis the Menace's Gnasher. That's why he probably couldn't be a whip, he keeps his mouth zipped and hasn't got a foul-mouthed lip.
