there were no elections here but had there been i would have relished voting these bastards out

It seems that the opposition to some of their policies and the climate change claptrap is growing and is being increasingly voiced in papers such as the Daily Mail and even by some Tory MPs, in the same way as the crowd echoed the little boy who said that the emperor has no clothes.

But will the leadership change and will they have the courage to face down the liberal intellectual elite and the Guardian and the BBC who are often the drum beaters for the climate catastrophe cavalcade?

Nadine Dorries has again stepped up her criticisms in today's Daily Mail and the fact that the Mail is publishing it seems to point to the fact that she must have supporters and is not a lone voice.

Osborne was on the Andrew Marr Show this morning and was very good. He said that the government has listened to the people and is concentrating on issues that are most important to them and that they will do more to enable the economy to grow.

I think it is depressing that people have such short memories that they forget what 13 years of Labour did to this country and why the coalition have felt it necessary to make all these cuts (Labour spent all the money in the good times instead of putting it away for a rainy day). I am not a big fan of the current coalition as I think Cameron has no clear vision of what he wants the Conservatives to be (probably brought about by having the Lib Dems constrict their every move) and the current Conservatives don't seem to be doing much different than Labour were doing. We need real change and we need the politicians to actually listen to what the electorate want, not use taxpayers money to fund vanity projects and increase taxes to pay for fraudulent climate change and diversity projects.

I also can't understand how anyone can contemplate voting for a Labour leader such as Moribund, he doesn't look like he has a brain in his head, let alone an original thought and I can't imagine him governing the country with any kind of charisma or strength. For all his sins (and I really do hate him), at least Tony Blair had some charisma and knew how to project a persona of strength which is needed on the international stage. Moribund simply comes across as a wet flannel.

GB should have stayed "the backroom" guy. Ego, political egging had a lot to do with him wanting to be PM (a role in every other way,than intellect, he wasn't cut out for).
As for presiding over the banks during their most lax, IMO any Government at the time would have sat back and done the same, in the end, it's ALWAYS about the money.
Labour saw the money coming in from the city, and followed it. Wasted opportunity. They could have/should have achieved a lot more. Ach, all history now, where are we going??
