Ive been so angry since the fuckers came into power. But I can't vent to anyone in real life as I'm forrin and single mother.

General population rightwingerness is quite scary really. I know they have to have a scapegoat bit it's sad how easily is to manipulate people into blaming immigrants, single parents, disabled etc for the state of the country.

Clear short facts are much more effective than long stats because the thickies can't cope with long stat posts.

Shirl, it's ok. The anger is rising in all of us. I've had to step away from the benefits threads today before I chewed someones head off.

Instead I'm frothing at the the Govs attempt now to remove the Social Fund. Yep, the payments that help families in crisis. They will give money to the LAs but will not ringfence it so in all likelyhood it'll be spent elsewhere. But that of course will not be the Govs fault.
Sloping shouldered utter monsters.

Right, now who would like a large slug of rum in their mugs?

I haven't been able to go near the Frothers for a little while, too angry and not in a constructive way.

I am, honestly, so close to saying "OK. OK, they're going to do it anyway - just, fine."

They won't stop here, and eventually all those who are supporting the coalition will fall on their own swords, because they WILL fuck us all - look at the HOWL of horror at the £40k Child Benefit cut. That's the tip of the iceberg - they're SO arrogant that they will go too far.

Shirl, although the Lords voted against some proposals, Clegg and others have said that they will seek to overturn this when the bill returns to the commons.

not on carers, kinship carers, recently unemployed or at risk of homelessness. All of which are still included.
