I'm not quite a frothing berserker but I am getting rather cross with our government messing with the good stuff.

Just off the top of my head:

  • Student fees
  • Public sector workers terms and conditions (otherwise known as moving the goal posts after the match has started)
  • Women (Report on Fawcett legal challenge result here)
  • Sure Start
  • NHS
  • Erosion of employment rights
  • Removal of EMA
  • Removal of universal child benefit
  • Unfair changes to DLA
  • Unfair changes to ESA assessment

I am getting more and more fed up that these decisions are being made to take away some of the things we should be most proud of and that took years to be achieved.

This thread is a safe haven for some ranting as I know some of us are feeling sick and tired of it all.

Try just typing something like "joining #frothers" - tweet it, then click on #frothers in your own tweet. It should take you to the tweets already made on that hashtag.

child in bed. he had a late night in honour of the strike tomorrow.

i still think all the children should have been bussed to westminster and delivered to the house to give them a real flavour of the childcare problems in this country and reality of women's working lives. alternatively we could have done the action that a fem group did not long ago of turning banks into creches to make the point of misdirected public funds. we could have all invaded local branches and had sit ins with our kids.

if you put #frothers in the serch on twitter you should see my tweet, theres no group to join or anything it just puts everything in one place by adding the tag, if that makes any sense (and follow me if you like)

Anything you have to say about frothers issues on twitter, just add the hashtag

I'll have a go at finding links and stuff to tweet with the #frothers tag and post here tomorrow when my eyes and brain aren't on fire with tiredness.

Who are some good political/satire/etc figures to follow on twitter? I can't think at all in this sate. I'm thinking RT's from anything good they might say and adding (and therefore adopting them) as #frothers

I'm frothing like a mad bitch on crack. THEY DON'T CARE We can all go and kick shit as far as they're concerned. Never mind that people are dying cos of short hospital staffing at weekends. Never mind that working families have a shit quality of life. Never mind that our NHS and our schools are being bought up. Never mind that our kids won't be able to go to uni. They don't give a flying fuck because they're using the cream of private healthcare and education.
