..who writes moderately entertaining columns about his personal life in The Guardian. Yesterday's was about the perils of self-googling, and in particular of an episode of self-googling which returned the text 'Tim Dowling for example is a twat'

Where did he find that humbling line?? On mumsnet of course!

In the article he claims to have given up self-googling, but we know that isn't true, don't we.

Shall we give him a few more personal insights? I think he is less of a twat than Jon Ronson and he doesn't have a whiney voice.

I quite like Tim Dowling, he makes me laugh, but I suppose he is a bit of a twat all the same. I feel bad for his wife. I like Chris Cleave, but Lucy Mangan is the best, I can't beleive they cut her colum!

Yes, I'm getting a bit about all the twat-calling (Daily Mail excepted).

I'd envisaged gentle leg-pulling of Tim Dowling. Ah well.

God that makes me feel quite sad for Little Cook. Maybe he's being kept locked up in a shoebox - or some other kind of small box that has a lock! God that big cook is a twat. He can't even convincingly act 'laughter' he has to just say 'ho ho ho ho'
