I forgot Louise Brooks

CheerfulBunny · 21/04/2024 18:43

Special mention for Kevin Costner in Bull Durham which might be the sexiest film I've ever seen. Nothing to do with baseball, don't let that put you off. Grrrr.

@LenaLamont I am willing to stand corrected (though not sure standing is the position I am thinking of).

It was actually your Jeff Bridges pic that made me go << sigh >>

Roger Livesey - one of my favourite actors of the 30s/40s

That looks like William Hartnell?

PriscillaPresssley · 21/04/2024 18:39

Sir Roger Moore

How about Johnny Weissmuller, my favourite Tarzan? Christopher Lambert is a close second to be fair.

Sorry, Lauder, the correct answer is Alexander Skarsgård (even though he’s too young to be a Pin Up Of The Past)

Young Elvis again. Might be the handsomest man who ever lived, IMHO 😍

I agree, he was perfection, loved him when he was young but also in the black leather 68 comeback special.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 21/04/2024 18:17

Which reminds me - Michael Redgrave! I love The Lady Vanishes. I've seen it many, many times and I never tire of it.

Robert Donat, yes the 39 Steps

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 21/04/2024 18:11

Here's Kirk. Also, Burt Lancaster, and lovely Robert Donat, who died far too young.

No wonder he had an award named after him!
