... and so I'm bringing you four days of celebrations in Playmoland. Today is King Athelstan's birthday parade. The route has been lined with bunting.

Thank you all! And no, Norman didn't get booed, he is well liked in Playmoland. Smile. I'll be at work this morning, but will be back later with more scenes.

I bet Prime Minister Norman the Forman didn't get booed like Boris.

This has genuinely made my jubilee weekend SoMuch! I’ve been in bed sick all week so had to cancel all my celebrations, and we don’t have a tv either so I was feeling like I was missing the whole thing. You’ve more than made up for it Grin

BoreOfWhabylon · 04/06/2022 03:13

Oh thank you @SoMuchToBits ! I love your playmo threads but I'd missed this one up until now.
So pleased to have found it in time for the concert Smile

RhannionKPSS · 04/06/2022 02:48

Clever cheerful & sweet as always Thank you

SoMuchToBits · 03/06/2022 23:16

Thank you @NiqueNique yes, Norman was originally elected (by MN people) way back in 2010. He has continued to work hard for Playmoland, and unlike some PMs is actually an honest person!

NiqueNique · 03/06/2022 20:51

@SpringCalling thats not just his name! He actually was a foreman before he was elected Prime Minister. He has proved his excellent leadership skills and all-round capabilities in all sorts of situations over the years. I expect he’s doing a grand job of running things in Playmoland. Smile

SpringCalling · 03/06/2022 20:39

Love the name of the Prime minister 😂

SoMuchToBits · 03/06/2022 20:18

Thank you! I do spend hours planning this stuff, but that's all part of the fun! Smile

I love the Playmo threads, this one is probably my favourite. So, so clever. Thank you!

SoMuchToBits · 03/06/2022 19:54

Thank you also to everyone else who has commented. Sorry I haven't had time to reply to everyone individually, but all your comments are most welcome and have made all the work of producing the scenes so worthwhile! Smile

Thank you @CatkinToadflax , it means a lot when people post their comments and their relatives have enquired about the possibility of Playmo threads! Smile

Oh this is glorious! Thanks so much OP! Your magnificent lockdown thread kept me entertained in 2020 when I was shielding for months and my dad died. Your threads are so wholesome and happy. DH asked just yesterday “is there a Jubilee playmo thread by any chance?” Grin

SoMuchToBits · 03/06/2022 18:26

There will be a couple of events tomorrow, so hope to see you all there!

Hmm, I hadn't thought of a bar for the concert... Probably a bit late for that now!

But here is Sir Staplehurts Lydd.
