Help me place this actor??

I saw him on a train. Can’t for the life of me remember who he is.

He’s a British tv actor, probably in his 50s or early 60s. Grey hair, used to be blonde. Piercing blue eyes. Often plays a hero/ love interest type role.

a bit like Greg wise but shorter!

I feel sure he was in a Sunday night drama or a soap or something but I can’t find him online! It’s driving me mad!

Yeah 5ft 11 on google tends to mean 5 9.I wouldn’t t have thought of him and I am a Scot .

I’m sure I’ve had an argument with DH about John Michie and the fact that I read that he has quite a posh English accent IRL rather than the rather gruff Glaswegian one he had on Taggart. Can you confirm?

He is a handsome fella though that but was correct!

So funny! It's been a good thread though and we've learnt that there's an abundance of good looking actors on TV of all ages, heights and eye colour!( Some I've never heard of)

But he does live in Folkestone apparently so that explains why he was on a train to Kent (although not to Folkestone!!!)

I am very sorry for misleading people. It honestly wasn’t on purpose. I could have sworn he was short and had blue eyes Blush
