I saw him on a train. Can’t for the life of me remember who he is.

He’s a British tv actor, probably in his 50s or early 60s. Grey hair, used to be blonde. Piercing blue eyes. Often plays a hero/ love interest type role.

a bit like Greg wise but shorter!

I feel sure he was in a Sunday night drama or a soap or something but I can’t find him online! It’s driving me mad!

I must admit, some details of your description made me think of Michael Praed but he’s pretty tall, didn’t used to be blonde and has brown eyes.

He does look like a slightly softer Mark Bonnar now though, and he was in Emmerdale for a while.

Wetting myself laughing at this thread!

OP gives some pretty clear parameters of this bloke’s height/age/hair colour and the type of TV programme he appears in.

Cue hundreds of wildly random guesses, including the 39 year old, 6 ft, brown-haired Dan Stevens, and the 31 year old, 5ft 9, brown-haired Hollywood film star Taron Egerton.

John Sim - he's filming Grace in Brighton just now ?

MrsMadderRose · 28/10/2021 21:46

Ahem! Simon Pegg fits the brief a lot closer than some of these!

As for Stephan Dillane, phwoarrr. That's taken me right back to siting watching GOT with ex and pretending ti be interested but mainly just looking out for SD :o
