I saw him on a train. Can’t for the life of me remember who he is.

He’s a British tv actor, probably in his 50s or early 60s. Grey hair, used to be blonde. Piercing blue eyes. Often plays a hero/ love interest type role.

a bit like Greg wise but shorter!

I feel sure he was in a Sunday night drama or a soap or something but I can’t find him online! It’s driving me mad!

@JaneJeffer

IT'S JOHN MICHIE!! But let's have another picture of Shaun Evans.
He doesn't do it for me normally, but in that picture I felt all funny. Swoon

@wizzler this whole thread has had me sniggering for days - Adam Faith! 😆

IpanemaPeaHen · 30/10/2021 18:10

Such a funny thread. Mumsnet at its best.

I’m glad you’ve got a name now and I’m still smiling that someone suggested Alan Rickman, if only! Still sad he’s gone.

@JaneJeffer

I never rated Shaun Evans, handsome-wise until I saw him in Vigil. Blasphemer!
Mea Culpa, Jane.

I have fully repented, let me tell you! 😉

stephen mackintosh?

And because this is hard work let's all have a photo of the staggeringly handsome Shaun Evans to keep us going

I never rated Shaun Evans, handsome-wise until I saw him in Vigil.

He was supremely sexy in that.

You just know someone will resurrect this thread in 2023 with

"Is it William Roache?"

And on it will go.

MICHIE

meltingappointment · 30/10/2021 11:17

@GayGrandma

Denis Lawson is a shorter version of Greg Wise, but not blue-eyed. Martin Freeman?

Haha that was my guess. You are right he doesn't have the right eye colour. Neither does John Michael though Grin
