Animals that are...creepy...

Disclaimer - I love animals and im fascinated by them! But truly some have an aura of menace about them...
To start, I give you the Shoebill Stork. Not dangerous or anything but...disconcerting.

A jumping spider is my next pet on the list

They are freaking adorable aren’t they? Like little cartoons

They use their little legs (pedipalps) at the front to wash their faces like a cat

Also slightly off topic but I hate spiders with a passion. Someone in fb posted a pic of their pet jumping spider and I'm sorry but it is incredibly cute!!! Enough to (almost) cure my spider fear!

Geoducks! The clam that looks like it needs a black censor bar.

I think most birds are kinda creepy. It's the jittery, unpredictable way they move. Monkeys give me the creeps in that uncanny valley way.

I like these guys. Not at all pretty but look like they'd be a great rowdy laugh down the local possum watering hole.

Have you ever seen a white moose? they're another level of awe inspiring. I'd imagine in centuries past seeing one of those in the wild must have had all sorts of superstitions attached to it.

Moose are shockingly big aren’t they!

When I first heard of them I also thought they were about the size of a deer. They really aren’t. They are huge

And yet ironically, their biggest predator is the orca Confused

Another vote for axolotls. They actually disgust me and I like most creatures generally. There's an animal that has holes in its back which its eggs are in.? Something like that. Eeewwwwww.
There's a toad that has eggs in its back, it totally freaks me out 😫
