@AlexandraEiffel

Love this. Yes we're fed up with Lancashire faffing on with the Indian variant so we're doing it proper. God's Own Variant. Thankfully it won't spread as we don't see a need to leave the county anyway.
There will be a war of the varients before we know it.

@Babdoc

Interestingly, most variants infect people through the nose or eyes. But the Yorkshire variant gets in bah gum. One will fetch one’s coat… Grin
👏🏻 Awesome.

Ah, the Yorkshire Variant which causes a sticky feeling in the pocket, thus making the extraction of your purse/wallet from it virtually impossible.

Tragic.

MooseBeTimeForSummer · 21/05/2021 14:46

Lincolnshire variant - recognised by the symptom of a yellow belly .....

MarshaBradyo · 21/05/2021 14:44

@WilyKitWilyKat

No wonder it had to mutate. My granddad was from Barnsley and he saw off TB with a pint of bitter every evening and no days off work.
Haha

The Yorkshire VET should be called, he can sort everything out, he knows all about viruses,in animals And humans.

BarbaraofSeville · 21/05/2021 14:42

@MRex

Only 49 cases, we'll batter it!
And fry it in proper beef dripping, none of that vegetable oil shite.

Had to Google to see if this is true or not, because I thought it was going to be a joke of some kind.

dementedma · 21/05/2021 14:38

Just braced up here for our very own Scottish variant....

HamAndCheeseToastie5032 · 21/05/2021 14:36

@profpoopsnagle

Thank goodness. A Proper Variant.
It'll be stronger, friendlier and cheaper than all the others put together.

@Allmyarseandpeggymartin

Bet it causes high temperatures and cold sweats if you get any further south than Doncaster, cravings for Yorkshire tea and uncharacteristic friendliness towards strangers Grin
