Woah - off topic slightly but do people actually take a clean cup everytime they have a cup of tea? I use one cup all day - does that mean I'm a splatters?

I once read on here, that a woman was fuming, she had put the dishwasher on, and then found two stray teaspoons lurking, that her Husband had left out somewhere, and now she had to wait for the next wash to put them in the machine. Amazingly stupid, !

BigSandyBalls2015 · 12/12/2020 14:13

So you can't put the dishwasher on until this evening ....

HoofHeartedSanta · 12/12/2020 14:09

Add resource management to that chaps C.V. stat!

Plussizejumpsuit · 12/12/2020 14:05

@HallFloor

He wasn't bringing the problem to me to solve. He was fully intending to manage until after the next scheduled running of the DW this evening.
Wait you have a dishwasher schedule?! I need to know more.

He thought of that all by himself? Shock isn't he the big decision making man then!

Dh said this to me once. He uses a seperate cup for each cup of tea.I don’t.

One cup one spoon!

PussyCatInChristmasStockings · 12/12/2020 14:00

You must be so proud of him. If it wasn’t for those menfolk with their big brains and their ability to act decisively and cope in a crisis us poor wimmin would still be living in caves.

Dh said this to me once. He uses a seperate cup for each cup of tea.I don’t. I tend to just rinse mine out. The last time it happened I made him tea in a gravy boat.

Steroidsandantidepressants · 12/12/2020 13:45

Doesn’t he know how to wash up?

Or can’t he just stick the dishwasher on?

YakkityYakYakYak · 12/12/2020 13:44

Not sure if this is better or worse 😂

YakkityYakYakYak · 12/12/2020 13:42

My husband came to me the other day as I was about to join a board meeting on videoconference, to let me know he’s run out of clean T shirts Confused

MacDuffsMuff · 12/12/2020 13:41

If there is ever an excuse to open a bottle of wine ... Xmas Grin

I hope your husband is ok, can’t imagine running out of cups on a Saturday 😭

LucyLocketsPocket · 12/12/2020 13:36

The poor man! That's awful!

Barmyfarmy · 12/12/2020 13:35

So sorry OP.
Thoughts and prayers to you and your DH in this terribly difficult time. I do hope no children are involved in this suffering too. Flowers Sad

FusionChefGeoff · 12/12/2020 13:33

What did you do / say???

I've started to go to a version of 'you're a clever man I'm sure you can figure something out' with an eye roll.

Feels bitchy I guess but I'm fed up of being The Manager

bellagogosdead · 12/12/2020 13:31

amazon will deliver.Wink

JemimaTiggywinkle · 12/12/2020 13:31

Very commendable that he had the initiative to report this crisis to you immediately.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 12/12/2020 13:31

Was he wearing the dressing gown of doom when he made this declaration? Xmas Grin

bellagogosdead · 12/12/2020 13:30

Why only today? Is he off to buy some more?Grin

orangenasturtium · 12/12/2020 13:30

When you say DW, do you mean dishwasher or dear wife, although it seems it is the same thing in his opinion?

In my opinion, it is the DH that isn't running properly...

BaronessBomburst · 12/12/2020 13:29

Grin I'm just place marking.
