It is Twee. Like grown women who refer to their mother as Mummy to care home staff “Mummy doesn’t like coffee” as mummy guzzles down her third mellow birds of the day after specifically asking for coffee.

Supersimkin2 · 05/06/2021 09:33

D’you know, I can’t spell it convincingly and wee-wee sounded a bit twee. Twee-wee. But I thought weed as in pavement plant. That’s the first time I’ve ever felt old. Grin

Books about cats are surprisingly difficult to market. Anyway, I think TC’s one for Marvel or DC Studios.

So what do you think Lana? Are you up for adding The Thug Who Came to Pee and other adventures of TC to your oeuvre?

I think you revealing a little about yourself here Sweetpea :)

AnneKipanki · 05/06/2021 08:50

😂 @Sweetpea1532

Sweetpea1532 · 05/06/2021 05:45

@Supersimkin2 😂

I couldn't work out what you were talking about at first...I thought, "hummm, what on Earth is that supposed to mean..weed on the cover? Why would Super be bringing up cannabis on TC's thread?" Then the penny dropped.." ohhh, weed as in the past tense of wee."

You're right! Any cat or any (one) could have weed or weed on that cover!

Supersimkin2 · 04/06/2021 18:31

Anyone could have weed on the cover. Anyone.

AnneKipanki · 04/06/2021 14:41

Absolutely @Sweetpea1532p

  • penned, not pinned 🙄

BTW, Grumpy, of course it wasn't TC peeing under the cover...how dare you think he'd be capable of something so uncivilised!Grin

AnneKipanki · 04/06/2021 14:26

YetAnotherSpartacus · 04/06/2021 11:30

Thug's REALLY Bad Thing?

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 04/06/2021 10:59

Thug's Bad Thing doesn't have quite the same ring to it though Grin.

Mog's Bad Thing!

Great photos, Grumpy. I often think that the adventures of TC on a boat (with suitable omissions like peeing and hissing) would make a brilliant children's book. Defending the Grumpy house against TC's onslaughts aside, it sounds as if you are creating a very civilised work life balance.
I think most children would appreciate the peeing and hissing elements!

I agree! And it seems we have an author in our midst too (although she is being coy)...

AlfonsoTheMango · 04/06/2021 08:27

@sweeetpea - I want to be that cat!

AnneKipanki · 03/06/2021 21:07

😂 @Sweetpea1532

Sweetpea1532 · 03/06/2021 20:46

Cats didn't need to evolve..they sez they were already there..as you can see by the attached photo...cat has trained his humans well...they had to drag all that equipment to the beach so cat could be comfy...cat is not pinned in, he's being protected from the seagulls and just needing a bit of shadeGrin
Now where are those snacks?!

@AlfonsoTheMango

Cats have evolved to deliberately not evolve.

Think about it. Man's best friend: wears a collar, is taken for walks on leads, learns to do tricks on command, put to work in war zones, herding sheep, being charitable (seeing eye dog, etc).

Cats, on the other hand: come and go as they please, constantly change their minds about what they will and will not eat, sleep 35 hours a day, etc.

This was my exact thought at 5am when Kloppy woke me up by licking my eyelids Hmm
