Since the second thread has now been promoted to 'classics' here is part three.

TC is clearly suitably impressed by his fame

I think TC's behaviour definitely meets the threshold for an anti-stalking order. Perhaps Sybil should ring 111?

CassandraCross · 13/02/2021 16:56

It is quite endearing that he comes running as soon as we open the door. Ha! do I detect a certain softening towards TC there Grumpy?

Hmm, yes I can imagine coat management of TC could well be dicing with death but needs must in the courtship of SybilGrin.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 13/02/2021 16:48

I suspect that NDN leaves TC's coat management to TC Grin.
It is quite endearing that he comes running as soon as we open the door. Several people on the street have assumed he belongs to us.

TC's coat looks wonderful, has NDN spent hours brushing and buffing it up to full glory so TC can impress the ever lovely Sybil?

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 13/02/2021 14:55

Note to self. There is no point going outside to tie your bootlaces just to ensure Basil doesn't chase them...

😂 Naughty TC

AnneKipanki · 07/02/2021 16:43

Brilliant @purrswhileheeats !

AlfonsoTheSensible · 07/02/2021 11:26

TC knows that the course of true love never runs straight.

Some day, the beauteous Sybil will have no choice but to fall for TC's charms.

CassandraCross · 07/02/2021 10:59

TC wants to present the dead mouse as a love token to his lady, doesn't matter where it came from it's the thought that counts plus in TC world Karl is one of his minions who works for himGrin.

PeterPandemic · 07/02/2021 10:03

Have you tried letting them out of the front door? Or are they doing the thing where they would rather whinge about not being able to go out of the back door rather than just accept it and move on?

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 07/02/2021 09:52

Everything normal this morning. Note dead mouse on the right hand side - actually delivered by Karl this morning. I suspect TC is just claiming it as his.

This is how I picture Sybil and TC:

TheLongRider · 06/02/2021 00:28

I have visions of Lenny as King Canute trying to banish the persistent TC into the waves river and failing miserably.

AlfonsoTheSensible · 05/02/2021 16:14

No pawns in that there photo. Only kings.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 05/02/2021 15:38

More cat chess...

Ah, true love. Romeo and Juliet had nothing on TC and Sybil.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 05/02/2021 08:57

Sybil was just yelling her head off on the railings outside to come in. She came in pursued (at a respectful distance) by her beau. It's quite sweet really Grin.

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/the_litter_tray/4124173-HELP-Being-held-to-ransom-by-a-stray-cat

I can't help but contrast the differing outcomes of these two threads. On one the offending cat is neutered and rehomed 14 miles away but walks back just to revenge his bollocks leaving the OP on antibiotics - now he's curled up on the bed. On the other thread the TC is still locked out and still causing hassle.

I wonder what the lesson to be learnt is Wink

purrswhileheeats · 02/02/2021 16:19

Poor abandoned, unloved, neglected TC Sad

Look at him, he's clearly starving.

CassandraCross · 02/02/2021 15:48

TC is not behaving at the moment.Grin when has he ever.....

He's just desperate to see the love of his life, Sybil.

You could try letting him in Grumpy, something along the lines of if you are given what you want without working for it you no longer want it - that might workWink

YetAnotherSpartacus · 01/02/2021 22:52

He wants entry to the Grumpy ark ...

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 01/02/2021 22:15

he’s not omnipotent
He may beg to differ...

Actually we don't have a cat flap - but when the thug is at the door, mine won't come up to demand entry.

Second flap? He might be omnipresent but he’s not omnipotent.

Or is he?.
