Since the second thread has now been promoted to 'classics' here is part three.

TC is clearly suitably impressed by his fame

Thanks @MNHQ. I remember reading the 1st thread all in one go when I discovered it. They are all definitely worthy of classic status.

SpringCrocus · 07/06/2021 13:29

Excellent!

AnneKipanki · 07/06/2021 12:27

WOW !

AlfonsoTheMango · 07/06/2021 11:40

Thank you, @MNHQ.

HebeMumsnet · 07/06/2021 11:19

Morning, everyone. We'll move this to Classics now to go with the others.

Stigsmother · 06/06/2021 14:22

Thank you Smile

Don't think either of my young panthers would be bothered to defend Sybil though

They wouldn't dare!

AlfonsoTheMango · 06/06/2021 10:29

A thought: do we need to ask MNHQ to promote this to Classics?

AlfonsoTheMango · 06/06/2021 10:28

Truly. Sybil is queen of The Tasmanian Gamma Ray Death Glare and woe betide anyone who defies her.

Allergictoironing · 06/06/2021 10:22

I somehow doubt that the magnificent Sybil would need defending, she's a gal who can take care of herself.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 06/06/2021 10:13

Don't think either of my young panthers would be bothered to defend Sybil though Grin.

though

AlfonsoTheMango · 06/06/2021 10:02

straightens collar, composes self

Sorry. That was in relation to TC losing his ninth life. I can fully see him taking on a panther in a barroom brawl, thouh.

AlfonsoTheMango · 06/06/2021 10:01

It's a bit late. I have previously confirmed that his chakras have been removed.

Grin

I could definitely see him losing his ninth life in a bar room brawl with a young panther

NOOOOOO

YetAnotherSpartacus · 06/06/2021 09:25

... over Sybil.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 06/06/2021 09:19

I feel like TC is Pinkie from Brighton Rock

I think he's more like William in 'The cat in the lifeboat', (quite apart from the particularly apposite nautical reference). I could definitely see him losing his ninth life in a bar room brawl with a young panther. Grin

The ladies usually are attracted to the badboy persona

nettie434 · 05/06/2021 23:59

Only TC could evoke responses as far apart as the King James Bible and Benny Hill. I am also hoping that, despite his travails in the library, (so much grander than WFH), Grumpy will still be able to keep us updated on TC's activities.

I feel like TC is Pinkie from Brighton Rock and we are all Rose, refusing to accept the reality of his true nature.

AnneKipanki · 05/06/2021 22:54

963 , plenty of time !

Sweetpea1532 · 05/06/2021 21:50

Thanks @AllergictoironingSmile

purrswhileheeats · 05/06/2021 21:44

No pressure

purrswhileheeats · 05/06/2021 21:40

I'm keeping this thread going just to see Grumpy's new title Grin
