There has been so much huffing and puffing around the house about how tired he is that I think he wants everyone to know.

Mine came and stood in front of the film DS and I were watching to announce he had terrible tinnitus. We just looked at him and he shuffled off. Hmm

@FlamingoAndJohn and @Happynow001
Grin
I bet he could see the lady quite clearly 🤣

FlamingoAndJohn · 30/07/2020 20:24

I checked the ‘optical migraine’ with a picture of a scantily clad lady. He could see that alright.

@Lovingitinlockdown

We are missing a trick here...... At the peak of the whinging, when he claims he's just so tired and can't possibly function, say that you fancy sex and see how quickly that tiredness seems to evaporate! 😉

Or .. say "Oh dear! WHAT a pity - I thought we could try something new in bed tonight but you're tired. Shame..."

Op! Put him to bed and take on all of his responsibilities immediately! The poor man must be exhausted. I don't want to alarm you, but I'm sure men can die of "too tired". Please don't take any risks, men are actually very vulnerable and susceptible to "tired".

ClaraLane · 30/07/2020 15:58

My husband is also tired, not because he’s been staying up until gone midnight playing on his PlayStation though, no this is a mysterious sort of tired. However he’s not too tired to proposition me for sex...

Deathraystare · 30/07/2020 15:55

The very young porter at work has just complained how tired he is (not rushed off his ffet). Must be chatting up all the femail staff that does it. The older guy never complains!!

spikeymama · 30/07/2020 09:28

Haa haa....that’s hilarious OP. Trouble isI bet you pretty had to it all again to clear up his mess ffs!

@chubbyhotchoc

Pray for me. Dh bashed his toe last night on a plastic storage box he helpfully left at the bottom Of the bed. He can't go for his usual runs and is now calculating how much weight he may gain if he doesn't run for the rest of the week or perhaps two...
How badly did he stub his toe that it’s preventing him running for potentially two weeks?

Mine was stung by a wasp on Saturday. We all knew about it then and continue to be updated on how painful it is everytime he walks into a different room. He called his mum to tell her. I've been quizzed as to what I'M treating it with. She's phoned twice daily since for an update. He even had to tell everyone on his zoom meetings. He's tired also. Reckons it's the sting.
Managed a game of golf this evening despite being in agony. Stingbegan to hurt more once the dishes needed doing. 🙄

Deathraystare · 21/07/2020 09:00

I've never felt more like shagging the hot young intern at work more.

Don't bother, he is probably too tired as well!!

My 5 year old had shown is genetically Male....

He wanted his 7 year old sister to go upstairs and get his drink because he was just too hot and too tired to move Hmm

I made him do it himself. He is not using a woman as a slave for him!

FlamingoAndJohn · 20/07/2020 19:10

Dh is still tired.
He hardly slept last night moving between our bed, the spare bed and the sofa during the night.

Today we got home from work and sat in the garden. He complained he was in the sun and getting hot. I suggested he move 3 inches to the left and be in the shade.
He was to tired to move.

.... mine is feeling compelled to watch cricket on the TV because he had go outside to bring in the bins. He now needs a "rest" .....

muckandnettles · 20/07/2020 12:28

Mine is away this week. Oh the bliss. He asked me if it would be okay and I said of course, trying not to be too keen. He will be very tired when he gets back but maybe a spell away will cure his tutting and huffing. I just hope he hasn't had to hold his farts in for a week though.

Chatterly · 20/07/2020 00:18

Mine's always tired. Often sneaks off to the bedroom for a nap at least once every day but now he 'feels rough' when asked for his symptoms he 'dunno'. I am quite worried now because every time he comes (silently) in from the garden he suddenly starts sounding out of breath. 'Err what's up why are you panting?' And the reply? 'I just watered the baskets' he says looking all soppy and pathetic. So I suggest he makes a drs appointment ASAP..... 'oh no. I'll be alright' Bless him.

drinkingwineoutofamug · 19/07/2020 20:32

Mines dying but won't see a doctor. He has GORD. Should take ppi for it. But because he read it has a side effect that disturbs your vision. He stopped taking it. Complains now that his vision is blurry . Last eye check 4 yrs ago. Complains that his back, stomach and throat hurts. So take your opemazole !
During lockdown he didn't work , spent all day on you tube. While I worked on covid wards, still did house work etc. But he walked the dog!
When it was confirmed I had covid, he looked at me as I was lying on the sofa and asked what's for tea!
I'm having a new patio soon....

shadypines · 19/07/2020 18:52

@Strawberrycreamsundae, 😂😂😂 I challenge you to a patio-off.
Mine sat on his lap top in spare room for 2 hours yest morning whilst I zipped round like a blue arsed fly tidying up. The second I stopped, made a brew, parked bum to seat and picked up my book he appeared huffing and sighing about something!

amispeakingenglish · 19/07/2020 14:43

strawberrycreamsundae

and the mere fact he’s breathing is making me murderous.

I get that.

I actually have asked him to go many times, but he won't. Took bed to pieces, (my bed, now up in a loft room, my room) but he just moved to sofa.. kids (young adults) hate it as his bedding and clothes in there too, I hate it. THere is no way you can force someone out.

A friend who is a homeopath showed me a remedy for ' homicidal thoughts towards spouse' I have always just assumed that meant a husband/male partner. I did once hide his asthma pump.

amispeakingenglish · 19/07/2020 14:23

I get the not having eaten thing too, if I don't want to cook at all and have a salad which he doesn't want. He is an adult surely he can get him self a meal, but no he can't be bothered, his words, so why should I be bothered if he eats ????? I wish he didn't live here, but won't leave!!

amispeakingenglish · 19/07/2020 14:17

Yes, I recognise this, the audible exhale as he enters a room! I ignore it completely. The shuffle down the hall, and the quiet, I'm so tired. I ignore it all.

I have also seen him shut his eyes when sitting on the couch, as I enter the room!!! No sympathy, I got to the penguin on fit bit in a few days!

thebees · 19/07/2020 11:20

How is he now. OP?

Happynow001 · 19/07/2020 11:02

@Giespeace

Mine had a sore left nostril recently, as well as being tired. Oh the struggle. As it happens, two weeks before nostrilgate I was taking a few days to myself in the high dependency unit of our local hospital, having gotten myself in a spot of bother with organs shutting down and such. But oh my god that nostril... Confused
Just sending you a huge, belated, hug. Hope you are getting better now? 🤗
