'I'll just chop up what's left and add it to tomorrow's parsnip soup.' Homemade soup. On a Thursday! What is this madness?!

Funtcase95 · 01/04/2020 11:10

'Their bag of shopping doesn't look essential. Seems like an excuse to go out for the second time today!' - I said, looking at their completely opaque bags for life.

‘I’m going to make an eye bath for the dog...’

‘I can’t run a business and a school by myself...’

‘The Freddo frogs are rationed’

“I don’t care what you’re arguing about. For the love of god, just stick Netflix on and be quiet for an hour!”

Ninkanink · 01/04/2020 10:57

@FTMF30 very, very overripe bananas are perfect for baking - pancakes, cakes or muffins come up much better with the extra sugars (that’s all the gross brown stuff is!). Mary Berry’s banana loaf is my favourite and is so easy to make.

FTMF30 · 01/04/2020 10:53

"Just eat the banana, it's not that black." DH wanted to throw away a (tbf, fucking gross, over ripe) banana in favour of a nicer yellow one. But I've turned into a warden about wasting food and eating too much food.

DamsonDress · 01/04/2020 10:49

sunandrose · 01/04/2020 10:41

My DH,
‘Do we need anything from the shop?’

‘Have we got enough Aptimal?’

namechangemania · 01/04/2020 10:35

“Don’t worry I’ve cleaned the money”

DamsonDress · 01/04/2020 10:34

"DS12, I don't care what's in the answer bank, I have FALLOPIAN TUBES. I KNOW I have fallopian tubes. It's fallopian tubes. Write. It. Down. Fallop. Ian. Tubes."

Followed by, "Ah, ok, sorry....yes, it would be oviduct then..." Blush

pooopypants · 01/04/2020 10:30

"Jesus man, move those bottles of hand gel off the windowsill, we might get burgled for them, these are desperate times!"

pooopypants · 01/04/2020 10:27

"On yay, you found some chopped tomatoes!"

"We've got that powdered milk in the cupboard, if I add water to it, will it make milk?"

"One pump of soap, do you know what I went through to get that stuff!!??"

BikeRunSki · 01/04/2020 10:24

I wish I was getting up at 8 am on Sunday to take DD to a far off football match.

Turfaccountant · 01/04/2020 10:22
