Have you never been tempted to ask C why she sits in her car for so long. Even if she's listening to a programme on the radio she can witch it n when she gets indoors, no?

We once sat in our car for over an hour, outside our own house, listening to, I think, Borg/McEnroe, neither of us would get out to go and put the radio on inside, didn't want to miss anything!

sunshinesupermum · 14/02/2020 11:24

Good for you JoJo2 #pinkdressinggown emoji

originalcatlady Have you never been tempted to ask C why she sits in her car for so long. Even if she's listening to a programme on the radio she can witch it n when she gets indoors, no? As for her driving off in pursuit of the van with no lights on ... the mind boggles!

OlaEliza · 14/02/2020 08:21

Didn't B move as soon as the van and C drove off?

Jojo2wyatr · 14/02/2020 02:16

@GabsAlot
Why thank you!

Pandamumium · 13/02/2020 23:55

We built this buffet.
You’re brilliant. I laughed out loud.

@givemebooks , @sunshinesupermum, etc....we might be one step closer to getting our pinkdressinggown emoji@!!
MNHQ posted a thread for new lurkers to join in the fun to post. There are several prizes ( Red velvet Bailey's ! Something else, and a MN cup) to be awarded to the lucky lurker...although, I'm not a complete lurker, I am new to MN so I posted...whilst I had their attention, I figured I might as well request a pink dressing gown emoji!!! See photo...fingers crossed!

@elessar I couldn't possibly. If they had an email last week about it, that definitely wasn't me.

I do get the observation skills part though which Vera does have

Jojo2wyatr · 13/02/2020 22:31

@WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll....
No, no, no way could we have Brenda Blethyn playing @originalcatlady🤣🤣🤣🤣, she'd never pull it off...she will always be "Vera" in my book! Plus @originalcatlady, is so young and vibrant with an excellent sense of humour...I dont think I've every seen Vera laugh.

elessar · 13/02/2020 22:22

@originalcatlady

Why don't you report B when she blocks X? She bloody deserves a fine for parking in a disabled space!

originalcatlady · 13/02/2020 22:20

Yes C was just sitting in her car. Had been for almost an hour. She got back seconds before B, into the exact same position. B is in X.

Just what?!

Omg, I lost the second thread and thought it must have gone quite, I have a lot of reading to catch up on. 😂🙈

Ineedanap90 · 13/02/2020 22:16

Oh dear god what's going on there.. Are they off to intervene B in her route home and kill her off? Dispose of the body in the van?

JordanMcDeere · 13/02/2020 22:15

Was C doing her usual sitting in the car for seemingly no reason or did she see the van from her house?

Tandia · 13/02/2020 22:14

I honestly wouldn't have thought it could get more interesting than C starting to park in 1/2!!! Who is in the van, why is C following them, what is going on????!!!

Gogolego · 13/02/2020 22:12

Whaaatt!!! That sounds bonkers

Supertrooper98 · 13/02/2020 22:08

This is an unexpected twist

Supertrooper98 · 13/02/2020 22:08

What???
What is happening?
Is C having an affair?

originalcatlady · 13/02/2020 21:59

Right. So C came home. Parked in 1/2 for about half an hour. Van turns up and parks in 1 for a bit then drives off with no lights on. C does a three point turn and follows it away at speed 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Good evening Thread 3! Wine

@webuiltthisbuffetonsausagerolls I think I luvs you, best idea EVER!

Can I recommend everyone report this thread for classics @originalcatlady deserves this for her absolute dedication in reporting the goings on in Alphabet St but also for the global increase in pink dressing gown sales!

And while we are at it I feel we should demand that mumsnet add a pink dressing gown emoji!! Grin

SallyLovesCheese · 13/02/2020 21:36

FintyTi

My vote goes to Chris O'Dowd. Not A list, perhaps, but I can just see his delivery of "Yes, but is it touching?" !

coastergirl · 13/02/2020 21:36

I've been following from the start. This is amazing. The film plot is pure genius. Waiting eagerly for 10pm. I hate pink...but I do need a new dressing gown...
