And she doesn't have it any longer 🤣

originalcatlady · 15/02/2020 13:53

Because there's new cars threatening her rule!

ChoccyJules · 15/02/2020 13:47

Why was B watching if she already had her chosen space/s?!

Go C! (Totally a MNetter)

Just as an aside, me and a friend are going to see Priscilla tonight (for the third time, we go every few years) and have some rather excellent shocking pink feather boas to wear. Made me think of B.

originalcatlady · 15/02/2020 13:36

B has gone out. C has moved her car to 1/2 Grin

In her dressing gown at 1pm???? She's gotstyle

originalcatlady · 15/02/2020 13:28

Next door to H. It's a rented property and I think they wanted a bigger home. It doesn't have a drive.

I don't know exactly what happened but they used to have a car and then B and F complained to the council that it was too noisy and he was tinkering with it all the time. It soon vanished and they never had a car again after that.

Oh please tell me the new neighbours are on MN to join in with the fun. I'm disappointed that the Ks have decided to play by the rules.

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 15/02/2020 13:18

I don't know if that is the reason for them moving out (or at least a consideration), but I wonder if it's occurred to Mrs B that, in driving out existing neighbours who do understand her 'requirements' (albeit they can never fully achieve her very high standards) and having them replaced by new unknowns, whom she will have to harry and browbeat educate all again from scratch in order that her rules be adhered to, she's only making a rod for her own back.

I presume that, as soon as the new neighbours put the tiniest foot wrong, she'll be straight over there in her fluffy dressing gown to give them a huffy dressing down Grin

MaggieFS · 15/02/2020 13:15

Where have they moved in to?

originalcatlady · 15/02/2020 13:13

Even A is on his doorstep watching. Maybe they'll all go. I think they'll wait for F to return though.

Do we need a sweepstake on how long it’ll be before Mrs B goes over to read them the ‘rules’?

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 15/02/2020 13:09

There will be a guaranteed sequel!!!!!!!!

originalcatlady · 15/02/2020 13:05

Mrs B is watching eagerly. Blinds open and dressing gown on.

BinkySodPlop · 15/02/2020 12:52

Sorry - total cross post.....

BinkySodPlop · 15/02/2020 12:51

OMG! Total game changer. Where is their moving van?!? Has Mrs B popped a vein yet? Or more likely, popped round to give her instructions?

originalcatlady · 15/02/2020 12:47

So. Current positions ready for the return of F.

Mrs K and Mr K by X, Strange Car in half of X, C in X/1, B in prime position, D in 3.

New van in 4!!!

OP posts:
originalcatlady · 15/02/2020 12:43

I really really hope the new people own both the car and the van they have arrived in. This could change Alphabet Street forever. They don't know the rules.

I have delurked and joined MN just to be able to tell Original Cat Lady how much joy she’s brought me with this neverending saga, along with the rest of you daft sods. It makes my weird neighbours seem positively pedestrian.

MovingBriskyOn · 15/02/2020 12:31

We'll

Arrrgh!

MovingBriskyOn · 15/02/2020 12:30

Just when you thought it couldn't get more exciting....

Well all need advice from the Style and Beauty babes on how to accessorise our dressing gowns before the premiere

originalcatlady · 15/02/2020 12:27

F went out. F left her space vacant. F has lost her space.

We have new neighbours.

I'll have to extend the diagram.

OP posts:
WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 15/02/2020 11:45

But where will Mrs B park when she attends the premiere????

With the sheer amount of people in attendance, I'm sure they'll have a large dedicated coach parking area - she can just grab a couple of spaces there.

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 15/02/2020 11:29

This year's Oscar statuettes will all be wearing pink dressing gowns, of course.

The VIP goody bags will all include the keys to a pink Peugeot 206, a pair of L-plates, a copy of Prince's 'Alphabet Street' on 7" vinyl, the latest edition of Parker's Guide and a bumper sticker saying "My other car tows a horsebox".

To wind up the proceedings with a grand finale to end all others, Ariana Grande and Stormzy will premiere their powerful new romantic duet 'We Are So Close, But Yet We Do Not Touch' as the full ensemble of the Royal Ballet perform in the round, clad appropriately in fluffy fuchsia robes. Mirrorballs and fireworks will in no way be rationed. I'm welling up here already.

MyNameHasBeenTaken · 15/02/2020 10:41

Or would they be using a pink carpet?

MyNameHasBeenTaken · 15/02/2020 10:41

Moving briskly
That's an easy one!
She will park with her drivers door right next to the red carpet.
