I used one of those foot peel masks & was peeling the skin off. My beagle ran in & ate it all! 🤢

He also rolls in fox shit. And knocked over bathroom bin & took out tampon applicator & ... cleaned it 🤢

My staffy, when she was a puppy, ate the arses out of my DS' pants.

My cat once killed a rat, brought it in and then hid it in the darkest recesses under the bench in the bathroom. On the underfloor heating.

I went absolutely nuts trying to locate the source of that godawful smell. I thought it was a ripe nappy bin, it was not. Finding that rat was easily among my top five grossest experiences. Dick.

M dog ate his diarrhoea and vomited it out in the hallway. Had to go hire a carpet cleaner to get rid of the vomit-poo smell. Ended up cleaning all the carpets so maybe it was a good thing as the house looks great now.

inwood · 20/01/2020 12:18

Oh and I've just remembered when he snaffled a mini babybel. I had to erm, help, the wax out of the bum end.

inwood · 20/01/2020 12:16

Ate a fresh toddler poo straight out of the potty
Walked in shit and walked all over my new carpet
Used to eat his own poo regularly
Used to activley seek out sanitary towels from the bathroom bin, he had figured out how to put his paw on the pedal and open it. We now have a much taller bin.
Loves to eat snotty tissues.
Loves to take knickers from the laundry piles when I'm sorting the washing.
Has breath that could kill you from several metres away (not his fault, diabetic and has to eat really stinky food).

Still love him.

My younger lab had just started a walk with us in the woods and he spotted a man crouching down about 25 yards away doing his business. Went like the clappers towards him, he dropped the tissues he had been using and ran clutching his trousers, my dog calmly ate whatever he had left and brought the used tissues back to me as a prize. I don't think any recall command would have worked. He also has a knack of discovering fisherman and their weevil bait...

My dog as a puppy split open a bin bag in the garden (I hadn’t had chance to put in the wheely bin yet) and managed to get to my daughters nappy and eat poo out of it.. needless to say I always made sure nappies always went into nappy bags after that and bin bags straight in the wheely bin.

The bloody thing has also ate its own vomit.

TheDarkPassenger · 20/01/2020 11:59

My dog used to race me to the potty. She sucks poo up like spaghetti.

Once my daughter vomited all over her bedroom floor so I got her in the bathroom and went back to clean it and the cat had munched the lot of it

Poing · 20/01/2020 11:57

*dogs!

Poing · 20/01/2020 11:56

Also, everytime I read an update on this thread, I have difficulty keeping down what I have eaten. It is seriously the most disgusting thread I have read. I knew my dog was disgusting, but did not realise that this applies to nearly all gods!

Poing · 20/01/2020 11:54

Why do dogs eat poo?

Recyclerfail · 20/01/2020 10:46

Nothing! But then we did only get him yesterday...

We think we have problems with revolting pea - try this
www.jerrypournelle.com/reports/jerryp/dogsinelk.html

I saw it posted on here years ago and go back and read it now and then whenever dog does something really disgusting to remind myself how lucky I am I don’t have to deal with this Grin

ACupOfTeaSolvesEverything · 20/01/2020 10:07

I used to have a Newfie (big dog - 13.5 stones of hair) who found a dead deer in the woods, after a tug of war with his basset friend he dragged his half all the way back to the car by the hoof then tried to bring it home with him.

My dearly missed rottie cross used to roll in fox poo like it was the finest eau de cologne, we drove home with all the windows open and our heads hanging out several times.

My current pup used to be a street dog. She shits then turns around and eats it all, I guess on the streets it all counts as food...

My other dog is a Labrador, very good at fetching, once he brought me the bathroom mirror at 3 am Grin but also very good at fetching knickers and underpants out of the washing basket and sucking the crotch. He also loves to clean your feet, gets right in between your toes it’s like a car wash for feet.

Same Lab recently sourced a dead stinky rabbit on a walk and brought it back like a prize, ex-street dog pup thought she fancied a bit of that so grabbed the other end... they both pulled the rabbit split open and I threw up. Not our best walk.

What’s really disgusting is these dogs lick us Confused

midnightmisssuki · 20/01/2020 09:48

One of my dogs actively seeks out my sons nappy’s (just the poopy ones) to eat them! Gross. We have to lock the nappy bin now and she breaks into them 🤮

QueenOfOversharing · 20/01/2020 09:43

@ofay beagles seem to take disgusting to the next level. 🤢

ofay · 20/01/2020 09:34

Many years ago I owned a Beagle. I had no idea that other people's Beagles were as disgusting as mine, makes me feel so much better somehow.

QueenOfOversharing · 20/01/2020 01:57

Rabbit and cat were friends and played together until one day the rabbit decided to mate with the cat. They never played together again.

That bit really made me laugh. Now they avoid eye contact & only exchange a few words 😂

Bluerussian · 20/01/2020 01:23

Please excuse me if I've said any of this before (just ignore).

Cat came in through cat flap then proceeded to vomit, spasm after spasm and what came up was - a frog.

Cat brought in a fish - a great big goldfish type fish, the sort people have in ponds. He'd chewed half of it. I think whoever had the pond had put wire netting around it because my cat had a bad scratch under front leg (I want to say arm); I could imagine him sitting by the pond for hours in the dark waiting to pounce.

Rabbit and cat were friends and played together until one day the rabbit decided to mate with the cat. They never played together again.

Skis across the landing leaving a brown streak.

I need a mind bleach 😂

How many ppl have we put off owning dogs?

OP posts:
Totopoly · 19/01/2020 23:16

I was going to say: 'eating other people's/pets' puke and shit', but now realise this is everyday fodder.

One of mine once ate a rubber glove. It did come out in the end.

Brigante9 · 19/01/2020 23:12

Ate each other’s poo, waited for it to curl out then hoovered it up.

Skis across the landing leaving a brown streak.

I once chopped a bunny in half for them, the guts dropped out, one of them picked it all up and ate it.

One retrieved a tiny baby bunny in the woods, obviously not going to survive so I euthanised it, put it on the ground, dog inhaled it. They’re disgusting.

JKScot4 · 19/01/2020 23:09

Out of my gang of 4 legged companions the furry one (others are nice smooth bull breeds) is the worst for rolling in stuff. Her current best was vomit inducing, they were about 30m ahead, could see largest dog standing staring into a bush and there was the minger of them all getting a good back roll into a burst open dead rabbit 🤮🤢🤮
A hosing down, followed by a shower with me picking ‘bits’ out her fur 🤮🤮

SleightOfMind · 19/01/2020 23:08

Once the elaborate hamster /goldfish/gerbil funerals were over, DC1’s Bigdog dug up three of the little DC’s buried small pets from the garden.

She left the rotting head halves of the corpses for them to find.

Pjsandbaileys · 19/01/2020 23:06

Another knicker eating dog here! But only female pants not the male 😬 used the cat litter tray as a personal snack bar 🤮 insists on licking the cats bum enthusiasticly and the cat who doesn't really like him let's it happen lol
