I was imagining Grumpy and Grumpy's DW doing the hissing and attacking and poor woebegone TC just sitting there looking all maudlin.

The old nudging with the foot scenario. One most used to get our cats out of the door rather than discouraging other cats from coming in. Who was he attacking?

TV's travails seem so tragic. Is he out in the cold all night because he can't get home? Or is he just a midnight marauder by choice? TC and his thwarted attempt to get into feline Nirvana next door. This should be made into an illustrated book....

Want2beme TC can in theory get in and out of his house at night via a bedroom window.

TC was in fine form last night. About 11.00 last night DW opened the front door to see if Karl wanted in and instead TC was there. She then went to close the door but TC was pushing against it trying to get in. Comedy moment with DW holding the door and it being visibly pushed from outside. There was then a stand off because we (obviously) didn't want to trap TC's paw in the door. After a few minutes we had to open the door and stop him from getting in by holding a foot out so we could shift him away.
Finally managed to deter him amid much hissing and attacking.

Karl meanwhile had been asleep on DS2's bed.

Does TC go home to bed at night or does he keep surveillance in your garden? I hope he has a lovely warm bed to go home toSmile

I love the body language between those two, especially TC's narrowed eyes 😑 😾 I can only imagine Basil's smug face once he got back indoors 😼

TC and Basil had a minor argument outside today. I think they decided that squaring up to each other, but actually doing nothing was the best way forward. Sorry for rubbish photos - taken through a glass door.

TC is now at the back of the house. If this is his way of trying to impress Sybil then I'm unimpressed.

Re leap year references. Curiously Sybil went out for a constitutional this morning. Asked to come back in 10 minutes later in rather a soggy state. DS2 opened the door for Sybil to enter, pursued by a bear TC.
So, you never know!
