Live CF parking thread (with diagram!)

So NC for this as not sure if neighbours are on here.

I am off today & woke up to the sound of doors banging and loud voices.

Have a glance out of bedroom window & there are 2 vans & a land rover parked on my ACTUAL drive!

Now I guess it's easily mistaken as a public car park Hmmso don't say anything immediately but once I'm up and toddler is dressed I go downstairs to see.

My next door neighbours are away on holiday. But of a weird driveway as their house has its own but it's round the back of ours and ours is at front so if you use sat nav it brings you to ours as their house is other side of our driveway ifyswim.

Diagram to show you what I mean.

Anyway they are unloading tools etc onto big sheets on my drive and walking over grass to neighbours

I said to them it was a private drive and could they move onto neighbours and they said they won't be long Angry

I was too shocked to say much more than 'no please move now'

Grrrrrrr!

Ok will make sure I have all my paperwork sorted first (passports, bank statements, pension period) etc though!

I've locked gates and am off tomorrow so will be watching out window. Will defo post pics!

You will have to update us all if he comes back and definitely let him know how 'famous ' he has become, for all the wrong reasons obviously.

I once stopped at a red light to see the intriguing sight of a man out pouring what appeared to be a full carton of milk over the windscreen and air vents of an abandoned looking car. I know understand this to be an understandable response to a CF. Thank you MN!

@DobbyTheHouseElk yes the dog path is only easy to get into via bollards - so no idea why he didn't walk away?!

Neighbour says he was working away till about half hour of us coming home.

Mind boggles but clearly an arrogant pig! God I hope he's back tomorrow!

This thread was textbook stuff. It had it all. There was an introduction, rising tension, and an eventual conclusion. There was humour, troll hunting, the obligatory 'I wouldn't care if someone parked on my drive, I can't believe how angry people get' and of course bold statements suggesting that the OP has committed a criminal act by parking on her own drive and closing the gate.

If I owned Mumsnet I think I'd just want to close the site down at this point because surely this is thread perfection?

How can the OP be done for unlawful imprisonment when she asked the CF to “ger off my land” several times in the day? He could have walked off the drive through he bollards as presumably he had been doing all day.

But will be on the look out!

Just been been doing some Facebook group stalking and I can see Copper neighbour asked for recommendations for plumbers/electrician/plasterer etc back in May. Hmmmm may just reply on thread and point out the Cfuckery! Then neighbour will defo see it right?!
