Has started coming in our house and stealing cat food.
Our cats dislike him. (understatement...)
Once he's in it's a problem removing him because he growls, hisses and then attacks us (launches at our legs etc).
He spends an inordinate amount of time in our garden or staring in through the French windows. Any suggestion how to gently discourage him? I have no intention of having outside doors shut for the whole summer.
Enclosed a picture of him sitting on our outside table.

Having not seen TC all day - I just looked out of the window and realised I was being spied on from atop the barbeque.
He's clearly still plotting.

Oh yes TheLongRider it is very Jack Nicholson from the Shining - you are all doomed Grumpy doomed.Grin

YesQueen · 29/05/2019 12:14

"If you could just hold the door hooman..."

TheLongRider · 29/05/2019 12:09

Here's Johnny! TC is trying home invasion.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 29/05/2019 11:12

In a previous life, he sold encyclopaedias door-to-door.

MoreOfADogPerson · 29/05/2019 09:39

Your DW and Sybil are the only creatures womanning up here. He's a persistent little sod, isn't he?

CassandraCross · 29/05/2019 09:18

Resistance is futile.

Grumpy I check this thread every day, the antics of TC and your commentary never fail to make me smile. For purely selfish reasons (sorry) long may the war of attrition continue to brighten my day.

Supersimpkin · 29/05/2019 08:56

Grin Cat Comedy Gold. TC just wants to be loved.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 29/05/2019 08:39

Opened the door again (for us to try to get out).
Greeted by this.

When DW opened the front door this morning to let our's out, TC was waiting by the front door.
DW hissed at him so TC swiped (but missed).
TC is now sitting on our drive displaying his bits again Shock.

OMG this thread is gold.

We have a very energetic 5 yr old part Bengal boy. Balls of steel indoors. HUGE claws! Soon as another cat comes in the garden he belts indoors and hides behind the washing machine.

Lets the creaky old 15yr old girl go out and sort it out.

Bloody coward.

MoreOfADogPerson · 28/05/2019 20:47

Indubitably. My spaniel always looks vaguely embarrassed after he farts, which is more than can be said for my partner.

That is Very Rude.

CassandraCross · 28/05/2019 19:46

Indeed Grumpy your previous cat and TC would have been well matched in the vulgarity department.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 28/05/2019 19:43

I recently found a picture of one of my previous cats who could have outdone TC for vulgarity. (And please note the stain on the photo is actually damage to the print!)

My NDN’s cat airing his bits in my garden. He and TC would be fast friends.

Ilovetolurk · 28/05/2019 19:13

He is a bit of an exhibitionist isn’t he

Witness and weep as I display my enormous baubles to your sitting room

I hope you weren’t having your dinner

CassandraCross · 28/05/2019 15:23

TC has laid down the ultimate challenge to you Grumpy - he has chosen to wash his bits in your direct line of vision unless you can do the same, with the same dexterity you have lost and must cede to his superiority.

Shame doesn't come into it it is part of the master plan.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 27/05/2019 20:31

He has the most amazing feet, I never imagined he'd have black pads . Are they all the same colour?

My female (Tarot) is picking up the Female cats MUST rule memo and last night pole positioned herself on the arm of the sofa to pounce on her shy brother as he wandered out for a pee .

I think she's taking a full on Sybil mode Grin

MoreOfADogPerson · 27/05/2019 20:16

I have faith in Sybil to continue to stand firm.

Supersimpkin · 27/05/2019 20:13

You're getting the blink of love!

Just get the Gourmet out, you know that's next.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 27/05/2019 19:45

TC is continuing his battle of attrition.
Directly outside the French doors as usual. Falling asleep sitting up then waking up and having a wash. This cat has no shame.Smile
