Has started coming in our house and stealing cat food.
Our cats dislike him. (understatement...)
Once he's in it's a problem removing him because he growls, hisses and then attacks us (launches at our legs etc).
He spends an inordinate amount of time in our garden or staring in through the French windows. Any suggestion how to gently discourage him? I have no intention of having outside doors shut for the whole summer.
Enclosed a picture of him sitting on our outside table.

lou8519 glad you're amused by TC's ongoing war of attrition.
Cassandra it was worse than that - I was not only a witness - but I also laughed at him Shock.
Dobby no - but you've given me an idea for when he's rolling on the table next time Grin.

Did you move the table?

CassandraCross · 28/07/2019 16:40

Grumpy you were bitten and attacked because under no circumstances is the witness to the humiliation of falling off the table allowed to go forth unscathed lest they make details of said humiliation public. It is a well known witness silencing technique, I now worry for your future as you have not adhered to the warning.....Grin 'twas nice knowing you!

This thread has cheered me up today haven't stopped laughing x

Bookworm4 · 28/07/2019 13:21

Face of an angel 😇
I don’t believe these attack stories at all 🤣

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 28/07/2019 12:53

This is him immediately afterwards (having jumped back on the table to attack me).

More gravity defying arse moves this morning. Grin
He rolled off the table and looked very embarrassed shortly after this (and then he bit me).

It's the way his arse end is defying gravity in a couple of those photos.

TC has upped his game now and is providing entertainment to make you feel guilty about rejecting/ejecting him.

That is one clever cat Shock

DobbyTheHouseElk · 23/07/2019 10:30

The poor little kitten. Aww. He’s crying out for attention.

Last evening I was in my garden picking cat mint for my neighbours cat, giving him belly rubs. My cat was no where to be seen. Neighbours cat is BBF with mine, they normally are together. We are so lucky they love each other.

Weezol · 23/07/2019 10:25

My delightful idiot has never fully accepted that her tail is attached. Chases it, catches it and chomps down. Screams. It's been eight years now.

I think a true test of TCs stamina would be a couple of days of constant rain. He is very appealing - can you imagine that face all soggy with water dripping from his whiskers? You'd need a heart of stone to resist that.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 22/07/2019 21:12

TC is currently rolling around like a loon (chasing his own tail) on one of our garden chairs.

I had problems with my neighbours cat bullying my very sensitive rescue cat up until my sister stayed a few days with her dog. He barked at the cat everytime it came near my garden and must have terrified them as since then the cat seems to keep their distance from my house

YetAnotherSpartacus · 21/07/2019 13:48

Cynic.

Nonstopbuttmachine · 21/07/2019 13:41

I can hear the Jaws theme tune in my head...

YetAnotherSpartacus · 21/07/2019 13:12

Those pleading eyes .. how can you resist?

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 21/07/2019 12:41

Called mine in this morning. No surprise about who was waiting outside. Decided to try a cat's eye view of him.

Ellmau · 20/07/2019 10:54

He and my two coexisted in perfect harmony for several years. Other NDN (who didn't have any cats) regularly found all three of them asleep on her bed!

They obviously decided they were a pack of three with at least three houses to share ;)

Terrarium · 20/07/2019 09:46

Fluffycloudland77 I want all of those bengals needing homes! We already have 2 cats, though, and a lot of them need pet free homes.

Bookworm4 · 19/07/2019 17:12

TC is coming ....

Nonstopbuttmachine · 19/07/2019 14:46

TC is sooo coming back soon with a crowbar Shock

OP did you work out how he got onto your balcony? My guess is he was actually inside your house, Luther-style Wink

Weezol · 19/07/2019 14:20

YetAnotherSpartacus I like dedicated. It's much kinder than 'obsessed'.

overnightangel · 19/07/2019 13:47

This is my fave cat thread in a loooong time 😃
