Tomorrow Princess Juliet will be marrying Mr Peregrine Banksbrook. The ceremony will take place at Ruggington Cathedral because let's face it we don't have any other Playmobil churches and will be conducted by the Archbishop of Ruggington, assisted by the Dean of Lowbeach-on-Sea, with an address given by the Bishop of Highbath, the Right Reverend Balthazar Browne.

The ceremony will be followed by a carriage procession, and a reception in the grounds of Roundwood palace.

In Ruggington, the streets are being cleaned ready for tomorrow.

Hmm...

It may just be that SoMuch has neglected to buy any new Playmo babies.

Or maybe the Duchess of Waterbury is rather overdue. Who can tell?

floraloctopus · 11/05/2019 19:59

Is there any truth in the rumour that there has been a royal Playmobil birth?

SoMuchToBits isn't planning on announcing the birth for a couple of weeks so they can have time for some Playmobil family life first.

ForalltheSaints · 30/03/2019 09:38

Will the Royal baby be celebrated when it arrives? A Royal Christening perhaps?

HalloumiGus · 16/12/2018 10:44

Just read this one after reading the Advent thread. Such a delight OP :-)

You are most welcome, pattyhoo!

Absolutely loved finding this on a cold Saturday morning! Thank you so much @SoMuchToBits

SoMuchToBits · 26/10/2018 20:57

Maybe...

I have several ideas for Christmas scenarios though after spending far too much time thinking about this yesterday evening

Three ships came sailing in?

SoMuchToBits · 26/10/2018 19:55

Early, the Playmolanders voted Premain rather than Plexit, so can't do that! I would send you a link to the referendum thread, but sadly I think that was one that got left in Chat and has now been lost.

Ghoulish, we have many boats. But I was thinking of more Christmassy things...

GhoulishGremlins · 26/10/2018 17:48

Do you have boats?

You could do the English V French scallop wars

EarlyModernParent · 26/10/2018 17:33

Surely you are planning a Brexit special, complete with panic buying, queues at petrol stations and chaos in Parliament?

SoMuchToBits · 25/10/2018 19:03

I've been having a serious think about possible scenarios this afternoon. So there may be some type of Christmas thing...

OP posts:
GhoulishGremlins · 24/10/2018 23:40

Will there be a Christmas special?

TheMadGardener · 24/10/2018 23:39

Thanks for the election link. Genius!

SoMuchToBits · 23/10/2018 23:17

Thanks, elephant!

I am so pleased that many of these threads have made it into classics. They are brilliant.

SoMuchToBits · 23/10/2018 22:16

And these were the candidates at the election.

Norman the foreman (tea drinking party), Bossy Ross (lifesaving party), Michael the beach policeman (law and order party), Jack Jellyhead (legalise robbery party) and Father Christmas (Christmas every day party).

This was the first photo at the polling station in 2010.

Haha, Fuzzy, I'm sure I don't!

For anyone interested, Adrian the Returning Officer in the original election thread is none other than Captain Adrian Banksbrook, the father of the groom in the most recent Royal wedding.

And sorry, it was 2010, not 2011 where Norm made his first MN appearance!

Thank you bits. You win the entire internet.

SoMuchToBits · 23/10/2018 19:50

Thank you for your kind comments. Many of my previous Playmobil threads have been preserved in Classics, thanks to kind MNers who have nominated my threads. I think a couple of exceptions have been one election which remained in Chat and has been lost, and the stuff I did for the PlaymOlympics in 2012. MNHQ asked me to do this, and used it for some kind of page at the time, but it was never a thread as such.

Here's a link to the original election thread in 2011 where Norman the Foreman was elected as PM. Unfortunately, as this was in the days before you could post photos directly onto a thread, you can't see the photos any more. They were in my profile, but it seems as if you can't click on anyone's photo to view their profile photos any more.

This was genius. I hadn't come across the previous Playmoland threads. Is there a link to the election one, or has that been deleted?

GhoulishGremlins · 22/10/2018 23:19

I've never heard of the Playmobil people but this is brilliant

SoMuchToBits · 17/10/2018 23:44

Ah, that Royal Nephew! Well, in Playmoland, the Duchess of Ruggington's sister Amelia is in a relationship, but hasn't yet had children. So no nephew yet, I'm afraid!
