Think we need a bigger cat..... recommendations for a large family one?

Just that, really.

When it was just DD1, we had a 5 seater Toyota for me, and 5 seat Skoda for DH ( yes, we do love our flash autos!).

But with the DTs coming along, I think we need to raid savings for a bigger cat.... sigh! Recommendations?

Snooks I did, but I've had quite a lot of wine now, so am going straight into the spacious pussy area, anyone care to join me?

Snooks1971 · 10/08/2018 17:38

Our Citroen C4 Grand Picasso Picatto is excellent

(See what I did there?)

Are we doing the large pussy jokes now or is it too early?

Easilyflattered · 10/08/2018 17:15

Don't get a tiger, I had one turn up unannounced one day and it all the food in the house and drank all daddy's beer.

We had to go to a cafe for tea.

ellendegeneres · 10/08/2018 17:14

Scottish wildcats are pretty big 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sorry, I have rtft lol

DilianaDilemma · 10/08/2018 16:57

Just came on to say that size really doesnt matter: my mongrel was tiny and keep the whole family on their feet for two decades.

SasBel · 10/08/2018 16:52

I have 3 cats, the 2 smaller ones can take a child each, and the old tabby carries the adults and toddler. Grin

I have just brought a 7 seat Citroen, love it so far. I wanted an Alhambra but they seem to be non existent on the second hand market Hmm

RaspberryRipple1963 · 10/08/2018 16:48

Norwegian Forest cats are lovely, and pretty big with it.

NomNomNominativeDeterminism · 10/08/2018 16:47

You’re going to need something to keep all the cats entertained on those long journeys - try The Lion and Albert www.sheerpoetry.co.uk/junior/junior-poetry-library/in-the-classroom-part-one/the-lion-and-albert

Jojobythesea · 10/08/2018 16:34

Literally crying with laughter. Grin We've just got a Volvo and I love it.

Feckitall · 10/08/2018 16:31

Whatever you get OP, just get the engine checked...you don't want a dud..
make sure it purrs...

Grin
Branleuse · 10/08/2018 16:27

Norwegian forest I think. I mean I do like a maine coone, but I think with a norwegian you get the fluffiness too

MrsFogi · 10/08/2018 16:25

Best thread of the day Grin. Just needs more pictures. I'm sure you could fit the family in one of these although you may need a bigger car to put it in.

AlpacaLypse · 10/08/2018 16:18

I use a Sharan, it's a joy to drive. I can't comment about its passenger seats as we've removed them all and replaced them with dog crating. I can tell you with that configuration you can get ten Labrador size dogs in no trouble.

SmellMyBeads · 10/08/2018 16:13

I haven't read the full thread. But I'm going to go against the grain here and suggest a Meer Cat. Size doesn't matter. But these lads have the chat!

madja · 10/08/2018 16:09

😂 OMG! Sorry OP, but if you need a fat cat you can have mine. He's bloody lazy though, so not sure if he'd accommodate the kids!

A tigra ? They're Gr-r-reat!

@crayoladreamz & @caringiscreepy please stop, my sides are hurting so much

SuzanneVaguer · 10/08/2018 15:58

Oh, if you got the cat bus, your children would be the most popular in school ever... until they reach secondary school! Grin

And SMax is probably worth looking at

there's also a big new Skoda SUV, but can't think of the name, Kodiak maybe, but they're bears not cats, sorry!

goforkyourself · 10/08/2018 15:52

OP ignore the silly answers on here and get a VW Sharan.

Just make sure it's spayed, chipped and has a flea collar.

caringiscreepy · 10/08/2018 15:51

You're welcome op, you need search no further
