But I thought I'd share anyway.

This happens on our street a LOT and I just don't understand how people can be so inconsiderate, the gap between the wing mirror and wall isn't big enough for a child to slip through and the car is so huge it blocks pedestrians from seeing whats coming without stepping into the road.
Not to mention that he's parked on a T-junction.

GRR!

Total sympathy. We have a family living on a different road to us and their two daughters and their boyfriends moved back about 18 months ago so between them they have FIVE cars - all from the one house and they all park on our (very narrow) road and all park on the footpath up to the wall. It’s a nightmare trying to negotiate the path around and between their cars and they don’t even live on this road! Yesterday a lorry struggled to go down the road because of their cars and I was praying he’d hit one of them. Sadly it didn’t happen. This is the same family who reported us to the Council saying our dogs barking disturbed them. The only time our dogs bark is briefly when we go out and they get excited while they jump into the car - ooh all of two/three minutes at the unearthly hour of 8.30am. And don’t get me started on their damn cats who come through the hedge and crap all over our garden........

Report it to your local PCSO the parking is illegal on several counts.

Haffiana · 14/01/2018 18:01

The funniest is posters who don't even have the respect to read the thread before rushing in with their opinion...

InsomniacAnonymous · 14/01/2018 17:57

You'd think newcomers to the thread would realise there must be a bit more to it since it's in Classics, wouldn't you?

MadMags · 14/01/2018 17:55

Deadpool can help. He took her unicorn, it's the least he can do.

Doesn't make sense? READ the thread Smile

InsomniacAnonymous · 14/01/2018 17:52

jadenash2013 She did report them and pickle officers attended. You need to RTFT.

jadenash2013 · 14/01/2018 17:50

Pure lack of respect. People like this have no concern for anyone but themselves. I'd report them

UnsuspectedItem · 14/01/2018 17:47

Worth noting that I forgot to bring spare clothes so had to go to WHSmiths in a large tutu covered in glitter.

When your unicorn was stolen, were you left without any trousers, or is that not how the thing works? The "top" i was wearing is long enough to be a dress and I was wearing tights. I also bought a tutu for when I got sick of the unicorn.

Unicorn did die a death (his wires got pulled out and he deflated) but I think he can be resuscitated (Predator made the offer to fix him up).

Deadpool is not available, he's married to Malfeciant. Come on, guys.

The Joker and Harley were there too, they were beautiful.

I've been on MN for many moons, but Vlad/Vanka seem to have passed me by.

Sorry for the delayed reply, I've spent all day at a mini "planner meet" (myself and a bunch of stationery friends meet up and raid hobbycraft/whsmiths then go for lunch and share all our planner/stationery/art supplies)

Loooool mags Grin

MadMags · 14/01/2018 17:40

The unicorn has become flaccid, Jayne. Read the thread. Wink

jayne1976 · 14/01/2018 17:27

Seriously dangerous, a note on the windscreen will only prompt such an idiot to park worse, but to endanger life which it is doing, needs a call to police /council whoever for a booking. You would be gutted if someone got hurt and you had done nothing.

natjojo · 14/01/2018 17:24

Passive aggressive stage 2 (after the cuppa)
Write on his car with your finger (the car is very dirty) what you think of him, his parking and his car.

  1. will be shamed as he drives away
  2. will have to wash his car to end the shaming

Try washing car in freezing weather..... not nice....#revenge #karma

SchadenfreudePersonified · 14/01/2018 14:56

They were particularly taken by the Unicorn.

I am not surprised - they may wield All The Power on MN, but like us lesser mortals, they are only flesh and blood!

52FestiveRoad · 14/01/2018 14:49

the hundreds of MN bridesmaids also wear their old wedding dress/prom dress/costume from their proudest moment in the amdrams or other favourite one-time-only outfit in tribute

I am not sure even the fiercest of diets would enable me to fit into my wedding dress in time for June!

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 14/01/2018 14:39

I don't think phrases can get much more surreal than
Tinker Bell has got off with Harry Potter and DeadPool has stolen my unicorn

Mouseville65 · 14/01/2018 14:16

This thread cured my hangover! Absolutely brilliant, my OH cannot grasp what’s so funny about bad parking 😂 ‘Feel shame on your own time OP’ actually had me crying laughing! 🤣

TheSassyAssassin · 14/01/2018 13:26

This link is better hopefully, the other one came out weird when I clicked on it on the thread!

TheSassyAssassin · 14/01/2018 13:22

Jeeez...I was joking but I googled and look at this! Shock

www.bestron.com/en/duc800t.html

So...you'll be getting a good couple of hundred of these then! I want unicorn toast NOW!!

TheSassyAssassin · 14/01/2018 13:19

Oooh a June wedding! I predict there will be a surplus of unicorn themed wedding gifts though....

karategirl · 14/01/2018 13:15

@bummypicklemummy it sounds very sensible to me! Might I be the first to suggest that all of the hundreds of MN bridesmaids also wear their old wedding dress/prom dress/costume from their proudest moment in the amdrams or other favourite one-time-only outfit in tribute?

bummypicklemummy · 14/01/2018 13:06

Ha. I'm coming over in June so it'll have to wait a while.

Can you do Skype marriage?

Would it be tacky to re- wear my old dress and shoes? I've always been sad they only got one day out.

TheSassyAssassin · 14/01/2018 12:56

Grin Though shouldn't you really be calling yourself Unsuspected'sOH now after the marriage proposal and all???

bummypicklemummy · 14/01/2018 12:52

I've name changing in honour of classics.

bummymummy77 · 14/01/2018 12:49

My favourite part was op haranguing them with cuppas and biscuits and when she kept getting knocked back sticking a chair by her back door to snoop over the fence. GrinGrin
