My mums a right biddy. Right I can roll my school skirt up 3 times to get it short. Maxine says it’s well good and Darren says I have nice legs. But OMG my biddy mum says she can see my breakfast when I bend over! I mean OMG! Really! Says I’m not going out the house like that. She’s so old . She’s 35 and knows nothing about being a teenager. She still used a tin can and string to talk to her old biddy mates. Aibu?

CauliflowerSqueeze · 09/10/2017 00:11

Yeah greentulips so what if your maths teacher can see your labia as you reach down for your protractor. He’s a fucking pervert if he’s looking! You wear your skirt as short as you want babe!!!!!! Don’t let nobody body shame you

GreenTulips · 08/10/2017 23:56

AIBLU to go to school with skirt that shows my knickers? I mean like I'm wearing one ain't I? It ain't stopping me learnin nufink!!

nakedscientist · 08/10/2017 23:26

So like, I ALWAYS text the old bag when I go to BFs straight after school. Then, except this ONE time, I stay out till 10!!! She totally lies that I have EVER done this before (unless she means like AGES ago, last week, and before last week is like prehistoric so it doesn't count?) We were watching a peng movie yeh? And she's banging on that she called and texted and phoned friends and the GOD actually called BF! So I grab the phone, like " WHAT????" So I get home avoid the'rents (in bed or something-GOD) so ALL I did was switch the light on! Stupid little sis didn't even MIND! Then she LIED to the old cow that I woke her up? But I WAS DOING MY HOMEWORK. What do they want? Do they want to like STOP me doing my homework??? It was due tomorrow! 'D' M was droning on that I should do HW first BEFORE watching a film? And that I need to text her, soooooooo DRAMATIC and EMOTIONAL, like, yawn. And respect my STUPID DSis. That BASICALLY and literally ABUSE, AIBU?? .... Like?

mumontherun14 · 08/10/2017 22:31

Also....

AIBU I don't think I need to go to bed with lights off/gadgets off at 10.30 on a school night. I can sleep fine with my phone in my hand....it will just ping all the time in the hall and disturb everyone so better for me to have it in my bed. Dad keeps moaning cos he's up at 6 and I'm so noisy with the phone but he's just so unreasonable and old. Mum keeps threatening to cut the wi fi off at ten what's that all about? My life is sooo unfair.....

mumontherun14 · 08/10/2017 22:23

Actually crying with laughter....got a few of these going on my beloved DS esp the bowls in the room and spending most of time in bed....not the eyebrows yet lol xxxx

AIBU my daft mum asked me if I wanted to take a turn of cooking something to eat for the family since although I claim I cannot even work the toaster apparently my Home Ec (or Food Technology as it's now called...) told my mum I was capable of using an oven and had made some nice bruschetta and even passed a test on pasta. Doesn't my mum realise that me and Cameron only signed up for that class cos Anna and Ciara were taking it and as the teacher was quite young and fit and everything we've ever made has been tipped in the bin on the way home as if we take it home Mum might think I could actually make something......

Firefries · 08/10/2017 22:22

GrinGrin

Firefries · 08/10/2017 22:21

Utah - I have to reply to every one, even if it's a simple, like, "thanks babe, no you the stunna, not me".

Firefries · 08/10/2017 22:15

Longines yes! it's her job. Why should I touch other people's (or my own) used dishes! How disgusting.

Firefries · 08/10/2017 22:14

Oh my gosh I feel at home here - I mean how dare my mum tell me what to do / talk to me/ ask me to clean up after myself / tell me to do some homework / tell me to get off my phone/ tell me to put my plates away/ clean the bathroom when I'm finished/ tell me not to be so rude!!
Who does she think she is and what does she even wear? She's so 90s/2000s 😂😂🤣

Lexieblue · 08/10/2017 22:05

Omg my dad is so unreasonable I mean he takes me on holiday, on his own and spends the first two days whinging that I should go and meet people my own age and make friends...eventually I drag myself down to the stupid youth club thing in the day which is so cringe but actually make friends. Dad spends rest of holiday moaning we don't spend any time together and worst of all MORTIFIES me by singing American Pie on the Karaoke which I swear he did just to embarrass me and get me back for not staying in and playing monopoly.

LonginesPrime · 08/10/2017 21:37

She's told me I've got to do my own washing now

OMG, mine's the opposite - I started washing my own clothes but my stupid mother had a go at me because apparently two pairs of knickers and one t-shirt don't count as a 'full load' of washing, so now I have to ask permission!

She should be pleased I don't have more dirty clothes but instead she thinks I'm somehow wasting money. She's already bought the washing machine, so I don't know what she's on about.

And get this - she thinks should I go upstairs, rifle through the linen bin and put other people's clothes in with mine! I'm not touching their dirty clothes - that's her job!

pisacake · 08/10/2017 21:06

My mum is such a fucking bitch she asked me to put the lawnmower away and I'm like why can't my sister do it, and she was like I don't know where she is, and I'm like but I'm watching guitar videos on Youtube can't you see I'm busy and she's like well I'm cooking the dinner, omg what an unreasonable bitch.

Groovee · 08/10/2017 20:43

My auntie has joined Facebook. She’s not very bright. So she tells my mum that I need to do STEM teaching degree not the primary teaching degree. She’s not my favourite auntie. She thinks she is! But if she knew me, she’d know I’m shit at maths and science.

She posted all this on my mum’s Facebook wall! 🙄 but it was ok cos my favourite auntie told her that I want to do Primary teaching. Then the not so favourite auntie said I should open my mind to new things. That got my mum’s back up and my mum said “her application is to be in on Friday. It’s a tad late to change it all now!”

Thanks mum! She’s ok sometimes!

Ellybellyboo · 08/10/2017 19:48

DD1 -

AIBU to think my Mum and Dad should decorate my bedroom for me? They asked me to tidy up, put my clean clothes away and pick up all the crap all over the floor, but I want to lay in bed, bitching and moaning and pissing about on my phone while they sort it all out for me

As an aside, after I got my arse out of bed and did what they asked, my mum is being well unreasonable for having a total shit fit when she found I'd put all my clean clothes back in the laundry basket because I cba to put them away. She's told me I've got to do my own washing now

DD2 - AIBU to think it's perfectly acceptable to stash all my dirty washing in an old ruck sack in the bottom of my wardrobe? It's a much more sensible place to put it than the dirty washing basket in the bathroom and Mum should just know where I've put it

VioletCharlotte · 08/10/2017 19:40

OMG Blue I totally know what you mean! My bitch Mother just made me wash up too.. started going on and on about how she had to spend all weekend doing housework and cooking, and as I've been doing nothing all day it's the 'least I could do' Hmm

FFS, I've been gaming all day, that's so much more important. And doesn't she realise I've been at college all week and need to relax at weekends?

Now she's having a go at me for not changing my sheets... why the f should I change my own sheets? No one else's Mum is like this, it's soooo unfair!!!

bevelino · 08/10/2017 19:20

This thread has kept me entertained all day,

Nannyplumssillyoldelf · 08/10/2017 19:11

Llamacorn · 08/10/2017 18:10

If anything, this thread has taught me how lucky I am to have such a wondeful 15yr old dd!! She's nothing like this yet

nokidshere · 08/10/2017 18:05

Yes mum I'll be careful; Yes mum I'll watch out for hazards; Yes mum I won't drink & drive; Yes mum I'll call when I get there; No mum I won't get distracted; No mum I won't use my phone; Honestly mum I know what you are saying, I've been driving for 2 days now - stop worrying I'll be fine HmmHmm

PlausibleSuit · 08/10/2017 18:01

This shouldn't be called AIBU, it should be EIUEM (Everyone Is Unreasonable Except Me).

Bluelonerose · 08/10/2017 17:54

Omg like my mom is the biggest bitch she is in the middle of washing up and made me bring bowls down from my room coz we'd run out and she wanted to get them washed.

Could she not see me facetiming grace about what Emily told Bex who said that Tom p and Izzy saw on fb about gemmas eyebrows!!
Is she trying to ruin my social life?? Just coz shes old and never been cool.

MyOtherHusbandIsTomHardy · 08/10/2017 17:43

AIBU She told Me to wear a coat when I complained I was cold walking to school 😒 as if -

eyebrowsonfleek · 08/10/2017 17:33

Ds1
My mum insists that I eat my meals in the kitchen with the rest of the family. I think that I should be allowed to eat in my room while I listen to Spotify and game then leave the dishes up there until I’m ready to bring them down. AIBU?

Dd
My mum is always asking me embarrassing questions like what I’m listening to on Spotify or what I want for Christmas. Shouldn’t she know that my music is too cool for her and I want cash. Durrr

Ds2
My mum is always telling me to get on with my homework before I game. AIBU YOutube and PS4 are more important?
