If teenagers were on AIBU

My mums a right biddy. Right I can roll my school skirt up 3 times to get it short. Maxine says it’s well good and Darren says I have nice legs. But OMG my biddy mum says she can see my breakfast when I bend over! I mean OMG! Really! Says I’m not going out the house like that. She’s so old . She’s 35 and knows nothing about being a teenager. She still used a tin can and string to talk to her old biddy mates. Aibu?

Talc Grin. OMG - I'm, like, literally crying at your one (I work with young people and this is an actual daily occurrence).

Potofbobbles · 08/10/2017 10:33

Aibu to be pissed off my Mum keeps telling me to get a shower. I had one in Greece Ffs. She just keeps saying that was 5 days ago...

drinkswineoutofamug · 08/10/2017 10:33

My mum wants to know why we can’t have a nice family photo. I mean wiv me brothers who smell. And she says I look like the pet goldfish when I take self portraits. Wtf is a self portrait????
It’s a fucking selfie and I need the world to see how fit I am and how my eye brows look well good and scouse

I’ve got a new bf 😍😍😍 and my stupid mother actually asked me to ask him to come round for something to eat so I cried and sulked in my room for 4 hours. Doesn’t she know she’s a embarrassment to me ??? It upset me so much I’ve smeared my black eyebrows on the clean bedding my mum had just put on AND she thinks she has the right too moan wtaf

Potofbobbles · 08/10/2017 10:28

(this thread is cathartic....)

TalcAndTurnips · 08/10/2017 10:28

AIBU I was like arriving at school at only like half ten and the old cow in the office she was like what time do you call this and I was like it's only half ten or whatevs and she was like why are you so late and I was like I HAVE TO DO MY EYEBROWS OF COURSE and she was like that's not a proper reason and I was like well your eyebrows look well shit so what would you know and she was like I'm calling SMT and I had to go to Inclusion all day and was sat next to that boy what smells like mushrooms and write stuff about catalists I dunno but AIBU?

NoLoveofMine · 08/10/2017 10:27

Shockers to be fair I can imagine some of the content of some of the posts being said but it's still rather amusing to read of peoples' impressions of teenagers Wink

Wombat44 · 08/10/2017 10:27

My mum keeps nagging me to tidy my room. She says it looks like a hurricane has hit it and you can’t see the floor. But I don’t have time to tidy properly because I need to play games on my phone. So I shove everything including wet towels and food wrappers into jumbled heaps under my bed, under my desk and in my wardrobe instead.

Last night, Mum kept nagging me to sort out my PE kit so it was ready for school but of course I didn’t have time. Then when I started looking for it 2 minutes before I needed to leave for school, I couldn’t find my PE shorts. Naturally I started screaming and shrieking for Mum to find them for me, as it’s her fault that they are missing. But she couldn’t find them and now Mum is refusing to write a note for the teacher explaining that it’s not my fault. AIBU?

drinkswineoutofamug · 08/10/2017 10:26

Me too shockers apparently I’ve always been old Hmm

And I have no idea why the bitch said I can't go to the cinema just because I told her not to speak to me when I got home if she was going to tell me off for screaming at her and that she could tell me off but I didn't have to listen.

I mean she has a go at me all the time. Today she asked me to move the biscuit packet with biscuits spilling out that I had left on her bed just because they were melting and pick up the cereal box I had knocked on the floor and left.

I mean why doesn't she just do it.
What a liberty.

Shockers · 08/10/2017 10:24

NoLove, mine was paraphrasing an actual conversation I had with DS2 (17)! Grin

MongerTruffle · 08/10/2017 10:24

lionsleepstonight

I think your DSM might be on here as well.

drinkswineoutofamug · 08/10/2017 10:24

Me old man keeps telling me to switch lights off. He says it’s like Blackpool bloody illuminations in our house. And I slam the doors , so they should stop trying to be ‘trendy’ and get down wiv the kids speaking to me. And ffs I apparently stomp up and down stairs like the theme tune to eastenders wtf they are so old , should get a stairlift.

Sum old people on this thread are sooo out ov touch, man. They're using names from like 40 years ago. Who would go out Wiv enyone called Darren? My boyf is called Kain. That's a dench name. Darren is obv a dirty old perv.

NoLoveofMine · 08/10/2017 10:22

This thread is hilarious and I can’t stop laughing.

Nor me. Mainly because, being a teenager myself, it's hilarious to see how people think "teenagers" converse.

Potofbobbles · 08/10/2017 10:22

My DM is so fucking unreasonable. How dare she be cross that I rang up and screamed down the phone at her cause I'd had to wait 9 whole minutes for my bus. I mean 9 minutes God!!!!

Shockers · 08/10/2017 10:21

The 'rents keep nagging me to go on holiday with them. I had to go for three weeks in the summer holidays, then there was Amsterdam last Christmas, skiing at Easter and they've already booked for next year Hmm.

Holidays are so boring... I could be playing on the Xbox with Chinny, Matty, Chippy, Hazzie and Wozzer, or getting pasties from The Pound Bakery, instead of waterskiing in the Med and eating fresh sardines on the beach.

Twats.

NannyRed · 08/10/2017 10:20

Best thread ever!

Oh hang on, my pet biddy is shouting at me to turn my music down!
She has grounded me because I smelled of cigarettes and cider and had a love bite. I'm going to climb out my bedroom window, it's only a 4 metre drop onto solid concrete patio, what could possibly go wrong?

chocolateworshipper · 08/10/2017 10:19

Basically, right, yeah, my Mum like told me off for putting too many like words in a sentence. Like, she told me I use like too many "unnecessary" words. But like my English teacher is always like telling us to expand our sentences. So like my Mum doesn't know what she's like talking about yeah?

bevelino · 08/10/2017 10:18

This thread is hilarious and I can’t stop laughing.

Lexieblue · 08/10/2017 10:15

Right so I mithered my mum, like, forever for these well expensive trainers and she eventually bought me them but told me not to go on the field in them so they wouldn't get ruined. I couldn't be arsed changing my shoes and they're completely trashed and now she's saying next time she's buying me trainers from asda and wine with what's left.
AIBU to disown the tight fisted witch?

TakeAnadin · 08/10/2017 10:14

My Mam is so old she wears a crinoline practically.. She used my iphone as a coaster. Such a bitch.

Dancergirl · 08/10/2017 10:13

My dad had the nerve to tell me my school bus had arrived and was outside waiting for me. I think that totally warranted the screaming match that followed Angry

drinkswineoutofamug · 08/10/2017 10:06
