I don't know if this is the right thing to do, and I'm so sorry if not.

catthiefkeith passed away today.

I know there are mumsnetters who know her know how amazing she is, and I just wanted to raise a glass to her memory on here, where she brought a smile to so many faces with her stories of her mad life.

Rest in peace lovely lady.

No it's linking to the official donation page which would out her, allow family to search her name, and potentially be upset.

I would definitely like to donate to a verified charity for adult meningitis. This has been a complete shock to me - an apparently healthy woman o
in her 40's taken like this. Meningitis is such a bastard. May some good come out of this tragedy.

Echoing Unicorn, I really want to donate. CTK was one of the first mners I conversed with as a newbie and I will never forget her kindness. Please can someone pm where and how?

I agree with not outing Keith to her family. Her husband knows, he can share it if he wants to.

That being said, I am sure a justgiving page for meningitis research in the name of CatThiefKeith would be allowed to stand. MNHQ, would it?

Then it can be shared with her husband and it may bring some comfort.

@GlitteryFluff Agree with @PurpleDaisies, people can donate in her memory. But it would be good to raise awareness of meningitis because not many people are aware that it can be life threatening if not treated quickly. But this doesn't have to be just on Mumsnet, we can all do our part. If you have a justgiving account, or a similar accounts on reputable websites where you can raise money for non-profit charities then all you need to do is type in "Meningitis", you'll find a list of charities and fundraisers.
