I don't know if this is the right thing to do, and I'm so sorry if not.

catthiefkeith passed away today.

I know there are mumsnetters who know her know how amazing she is, and I just wanted to raise a glass to her memory on here, where she brought a smile to so many faces with her stories of her mad life.

Rest in peace lovely lady.

@slithytove I'm sure everyone here is grateful that you posted. I am, I didn't know your friend other than online here, but am shocked and saddened by this tragedy Flowers . My heart breaks for her DH and DD.

This is so awful. Cat was such a well known poster, an amazing story teller too. It's tragic for her family. Raising a Wine to her tonight and Flowers for her family.

I used to read an op, and go in my head, no way, must be a troll.
Realise it was one of Keith's and go, oh yes, this will be good.

She was amazing to talk to and read her stories.'

And she was so kind. She volunteered, did loads for charity, loved animals, especially the less beautiful or able ones.

She was so kind to me.

What absolutely terrible news...i never spoke to her but she seemed so bubbly and warm and so naturally funny that once I read an op and realised it was her I'd settle in for a good read. Condolences to all her friends on here and to her family...mn will be a poorer place without her x

No, not hacked. Others will have seen it now on Facebook. Honestly at first I thought, hoped her account had been hacked. But no.

I am so sorry for posting the thread as well, I felt like she is such a big part of this community, people should know, and share stories and be able to miss her - but maybe it was the wrong thing to do. I wanted to talk to people who knew her in the same way I did. Here, online, maybe at meet ups.
