I don't know if this is the right thing to do, and I'm so sorry if not.

catthiefkeith passed away today.

I know there are mumsnetters who know her know how amazing she is, and I just wanted to raise a glass to her memory on here, where she brought a smile to so many faces with her stories of her mad life.

Rest in peace lovely lady.

So very sorry to read this, didn't know her in RL but read her posts and she was such a brilliant poster that could always tell a story that has you right there with her. Sending my condolences to her family and friends Xxx

MrsKoala, that's such a lovely idea. Would it be possible to do a Hmm face? Or a biscuit. Happy to make a contribution, she was one of my favourite posters. I always thought CTK was the embodiment of a MNetter, just the right side of barmy with such warmth and wit.

Much love to her family, I'll make a donation to the meningitis research Foundation when I get paid on her memory.

Just adding my voice to the many others here to say, I always recognised her name and remember lots of her threads. A really genuine and funny poster who will be sorely missed on MN and in RL I have no doubt.

Thoughts are with her family and friends. So incredibly sad. Flowers

V sad to hear this. She was a beautiful writer, she could tell a tale so well, have her audience in stitches. I remember the wedding thread, and the cutout one. She seemed like a lot of fun. Her affectionate anecdotes about her family were so amusing. Can't even imagine how they are feeling. I wish them strength in the days ahead.

I would like to organise a MN tribute for the funeral. Perhaps a funny MN word in flowers which would make her smile. Any suggestions? Also if anyone wants their MNname on the card PM me and i will add it.

My condolences to her family - I didn't know her irl but have chuckled at her posts for the last few years.

Her comments made me smile through so many night feeds. MN (and everywhere else) is a lesser place now.
